The date already passed. You must live in Canada for 2 out of every five rolling years. If you left Canada March 2017, then you needed to return March 2020 to be 100% sure your PR status would be safe.

You can still enter Canada. However it's possible you may be reported for failing to meet the residency requirement.

I was told by a consultant that I can enter by feb 2021 no questions asked
What is the worst that can happen
Can I be deported back

Consultant is wrong.

It's possible you may be allowed to enter with no questions ask.

It's also possible you may be reported at the border for failing to meet the residency obligation. If that happens, you will be allowed to enter but will be required to attend a hearing to argue why you should be allowed to keep your PR status.

Please tell me what I can do
Return to Canada as soon as you can and then remain here for two years straight so that you meet the residency obligation.

Will they allow that as you said I’ll have to be there for a hearing I’ll be coming with my son I’m extremely scared
Also what if they donot report will I be residing in Canada without pr status is it legal ??
Thanks for all your previous help
I’m grateful

If they don't report you, you can legally remain in Canada for 2 years and then apply to renew your PR card. Yes, this is legal.

God bless you for the information
Do I need to tell all this to them at the airport as I will not have the return ticket they will mostly ask me ??
Do I need to hire a lawyer or immigration agency for the hearing or I can do it personally??
Are there most chances that’ll they’ll revoke my pr ??
Honestly I did not return earlier due to COVID will this not be the a good enough reason for them ??

You had to return before March to complete your 2 out of 5 years and there were no restrictions back then so no, Covid excuse wont work.

Would not mention that you haven’t met your RO. Many people get lucky and are either saved through or are given a stern talking to about not meeting RO. No you don’t need a lawyer. If you get reported then I would recommend getting a lawyer. You also can’t sponsor anyone unless you are compliant with your PR so that is why the status of your child and spouse is important. If you married a Vanadian you would likely be able to count the time abroad towards RO. In general the advice to return as soon a possible is the best advice.

Actually I visited Canada in 2018 and 2019 every June one month each so that way I had to return in May it was lockdown in India and travel restrictions too and we apprehensive in taking such a decision to travel in those times
