hi i really need your help. how do you the request letter? I could not find it anywhere on my account. Do I have to use the web form to contact IRCC for that?
Hi,

It's strange if the PCC letter hasn't appeared in your CIC Account. It did come to me there. When you goto My Account>Dashboard, you will find the letters that CIC has sent you at the bottom of that web page. The section heading is " Messages About Your APplication". You should have received it there.

However, you will receive it once you have received your ITA and submitted your application+docs, and not before.
Check https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/hong-kong.html

If you have submitted the application and not received the letter from IRCC for HKPCC , please ask them to send it. Use the web form for this purpose.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have not yet submitted my application because there is a placeholder to upload the police certificate and I dont know how to work around this. could you please tell me what to upload in the placeholder in order to submit the application? Much appreciated for your help.

You can upload an application letter there, stating that you are from HK, and cite the HK PCC rules for IRCC + the URL where the HK PCC related info is given in IRCC website. Add to it that you will submit the HKPCC once you have the letter from IRCC to show to HKPF.

Thanks

Thank you so much for your replies in this thread!

I have a few more questions:
  1. After AOR when IRCC sends you the HK PCC request letter and asks you to upload it within 30 days, what document will you upload in MyCIC account? Since HKPF will directly send to IRCC, what to upload on your side to IRCC then? Just an LOE?
  2. How do you know HKPF has already received your application and processed/sent out the HK PCC? Should you call them or will they give you a reference number after receiving your application package?
I used to live in HK and need HK PCC for my PR application in next a few months, and really appreciate your response!

Hi,
1. Yes, I uploaded an LOE alongwith the fees receipt from HKPF for the PCC that I applied for
2. Yes, you have to call the HKPF and ask them about your PCC. They will ask you for a reference number - This number is present on the receipt that they give when you pay them the fees.

thanks for your reply. Just out of curiosity. is it possible to send a web form to obtain such letter faster even though I have already included a LOE for this matter?

I tried to ask IRCC for my letter through Webform the day after I received my AOR, and no responses other than an email saying they have received my Webform issue. So I guess you have to wait until your medical passed to receive the request letter at your account, as that's how I got mine few days ago.

Hi,
For my Fedex, I used the address given in my letter:

ATTN: EE Registry
Case Processing Agent
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
CIO – Correspondence
PO BOX 8400
Sydney, NS
B1P 0G6
Canada

But I have later realised that the IRCC has given a separate address for COURIER, and the above one was for Regular Mail only. Courier address is -
ATTN: EE Registry
Case Processing Agent
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
CIO-Correspondence
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

Check in your letter to see what address is mentioned.

My Fedex reached in 3 days. Although the Fedex tracking details shows 'delivered', I am worried if there can be any issues because I sent a Courier to their Regular Mail address. :/

Thanks
I have seen comments on the tracker saying that HKPF will not print the barcode for courier service. Did you ask Fedex to prepare the barcode and manifest? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I would like to know more about the barcode you mentioned above. so HKPF will need to provide barcode for the courrier (DHL or FEDEX) in order to retrieve the document?

The barcode I was talking about is the one that courier used for scanning. Below is what I saw on the tracker, so I think we should use courier pick up instead of shipping label delivery.

Tips for others also looking for HK CNCC delivery through private courier:
1. Make sure you are selecting Scheduled Pick Up - NOT Shipping label. HK Police will not print label and ship themselves. You have to provide them label, they will print and need a courier to come pick up. Arrange your delivery through DHL telephone service if possible - will make it easier.

2. DHL will provide you 1 Waybill #. It is for HK to Canada. After your tracker shows "Delivery arranged no details expected - you can call DHL and get the 2nd Waybill number. It is for domestic delivery from within Canada to IRCC Office in Sydney , NS.

3. DHL is experienced with delivering documents to IRCC - they will do it themselves during office hours, you don't need to stress about them missing IRCC office hours etc.

4. After delivered successfully , you can get proof of delivery from your Waybill # 2 tracker. I uploaded through webform; Waybill #1, Waybill #2 , Proof of Delivery and short explanation that document successfully delivered by DHL as per proof of delivery. All documents merged into one PDF document.

HK CNCC is definitely the most difficult one as there are so many steps involved!"

when was your aor?
Sorry I forgot that you have not yet submit your application. My AOR was July 10.
My advice, when you submitted your application and got AOR, wait around 25 days, and then go to HKPF website to make an appointment for around 30 days later, as they do not take walk-in now. MEP, BIL, and PCC request usually come around 50-55 days after AOR nowadays, and HKPF always full booked as well. Try to make appointment at 12AM as they said the system refreshes at that time.

Thank you so much for your detailed advice. well I received my AOR on 23 August. I guess I will need to book an appointment first. You meant that MEP BIL and PCC request would happen one after another?

By the way, does that mean all of my documents are ok and my eligibility passed if they send me a PCC request?
