That’s great! Congratulations.
Now the most important stage comes i.e Eligibility.
Thank you. Looking forward to the most important stage and also keeping a close eye on announcements for biometrics. Honestly, I thought biometrics collection would have re-opened by the time I get BIL when I submitted my e-APR back on June 27, 2020. I guess there's nothing we can do now. The alternative is a far less appealing option - I could fly to the US to submit my biometrics and come back to Canada and self-isolate for 14 days.

Lol I had the same thought about it, my AOR is June 24th and by the time I get BIL, Service Canada should be opened by then. But this pandemic is taking us nowhere.
Well, it’s your personal call but I don’t see it feasible to go to US just for biometrics and quarantine yourself for 2 weeks. Remember there are more than 40k applicants waiting for biometrics. At this time it’s just the waiting game. Hopefully IRCC will come with a solution soon. Sit tight my friend we have a long way to go.

Lol, I think we all are on the same boat now. Logically speaking, IRCC will have to break status quo after September because people who submitted their applications in March have not received PPRs due to this issue. I am sure they have experts who can analyze the situation much better than us. If my memory serves right, they were saying "Applications received now may not be processed within 6 months" or a minimum of 6 months (somewhere along those lines). There are also several posts here stating people were being added to "COVID Groups" on the GCMS system. Maybe, IRCC is planning for the next wave of virtual landings for those who have everything finalized with just biometrics pending and then re-open biometrics for others so they do not have a huge backlog?

That would make sense. Let’s see how it goes. Hoping for the best!!
Keep us posed with any updates. Good luck!

Update, my friends!

I passed MEDs and received a BIL for my PR application just a few minutes ago (on August 20, 2020). They are reviewing my additional documents but like other members suggested, they requested it because I did not identify my non accompanying family members on the e-APR. I am starting to have some faith in process. Fingers crossed. I really hope to pass eligibility in the next few days. April and May AORs passed their eligibility review within a month after receiving BIL. I wish the best for all of you folks.

My timeline so far:

AOR: June 27, 2020
ADR (for IMM5406): August 18, 2020
ADR Submission: August 18, 2020
MEDs passed and BIL: August 20, 2020
Review of ADR: August 20, 2020
Yeahhhhhhh!!!! See you were worrying for nothing. Fingers crossed. Keep us posted. :)

Good luck to you too!
We probably be receiving our PPR around the same time range.
Are you a Canadian student or Indian ;););)
Yes, probably! Lol, I came to Canada as an international student from India almost 3 years ago. Then I got my work permit about a year ago and now I have applied for PR. I do not think I can change my username as my status in Canada changes every year or two, LOL. :)

I see.
I was a bit worried before R10 check. People got rejections even for very small unconscious errors.
I hope our applications would be processing smoothly from now on.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

People with international status are truly the most neglected as we are entitled to nothing, not even proper representation. Has IRCC even thought about the lines for biometrics once they reopen them? They had been inviting only CEC candidates, most of which are already in Canada. So there's a ton of people waiting for biometrics and more and more people join this queue every day. This requirement did not even exist until 4 months before the pandemic hit, why can't it go back to what it was for the duration? Why can't they use the biometrics people have given for their temporary status applications? Why can't they collect biometrics during landing interview? Why can't they just open these centers like they have with gyms and restaurants and virtually every place that generates revenue? It looks like they fail to care sufficiently about people with temporary status.

Can someone with better writing than me write to CBC and draw some attention to this issue?

Lines? Biometrics take very little time to get through. C’mon now, lol
