Urgent application? Name one person on here who doesnt feel his/her application should not be considered urgent/important.
And, the website clearly states you are well within your rights to raise a webform if you have submitted an application.
Im gonna raise a webform today. Im a week past my 6month timeline. Tired of seeing Jan and even Feb submissions already receiving their CoPR and nothing happening on ours yet everything is marked as passed already(from my conversation with agent 3 weeks ago)
I feel the same! Tired of this.. I had already raised a web form and got a generic reply. It’s super frustrating.

I am calling today. I think we should email a letter to PM or at least the immigration board members. IRCC needs a system with better efficiency, transparency and strategies. Canada has been dealing with immigration process more than several decades and still having issues with processing? They should have implemented an emergency protocol for a situation like this. Their way of prioritizing applications is not convincing at all.

In case anyone is interested:

(1) Canada’s Prime Minister: justin.trudeau@parl.gc.ca
(2) Canada’s Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Ahmed Hussen: ahmed.hussen@parl.gc.ca
(3) MPs on the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration

Leona Alleslev Leona.Alleslev@parl.gc.ca
Gary Anandasangaree Gary.Anand@parl.gc.ca
Serge Cormier Serge.Cormier@parl.gc.ca
Jenny Kwan Jenny.Kwan@parl.gc.ca
Larry Maguire Larry.Maguire@parl.gc.ca
Robert Oliphant Rob.Oliphant@parl.gc.ca
Michelle Remple Michelle.Rempel@parl.gc.ca
Randeep Sarai Randeep.Sarai@parl.gc.ca
Marwan Tabbara Marwan.Tabbara@parl.gc.ca
David Tilson david.tilson@parl.gc.ca
Nick Whalen Nick.Whalen@parl.gc.ca

Of course, I highly doubt that our letters can lead to an immediate change to our application, however, it is worth increasing awareness and letting them know how IRCC is creating negative images onto Canada's government sectors.
I had written to the PM couple weeks ago!!
I don’t think they have even noticed it amongst the hundreds and thousands of email that they receive.
it’s depressing and frustrating
I am an inland applicant and waiting for COPR and have passed the 6 months a week ago. I travelled to India for vacation and the travel restrictions were put in place. I’m not getting any benefits form the government and yet paying my rent, car insurance, utilities, phone bills etc etc. And now I’mmentally physically and financially depressed. I have tried contacting several times and nothing. All I hear is there are thousand others just in the same situation. However that still doesn’t help.
I received my BWOP on March 28 and applied for travel visa and also included a letter from my employer stating I have an essential job. However I haven’t heard a decision on TRV neither my EE application. I don’t see any solution.. I have gone past the time of being positive.

Did you ask your application status and get this reply? Did you send this form when your application was in 6 six months period, or exceeded 6 months? I wondered, because I was planning to raise webform. Thanks in advance.
I completed 6 months. And this specific request was submitted after 6 months.

Would you need to travel back to Canada? Did you ask about it to the agent? Did they help you with that?

When I said how getting the PR will allow my family to “visit” me in Canada, a agent was kind enough to give me information links via email on how I could request special permission for my family to travel across the border even while I wait for my PR.

Honestly I feel PM and everyone at IRCC are doing a great job amidst the current situation. Just wish there is transparent data in our online case status based on our real case status in GCMS and also better prioritization of the case and transparency in the same.

I wish the survey data is used effectively and quickly. But I appreciate them collecting user feedback amidst the current situation.

Everyone of us may have a strong personal story on how our case is important. I just feel now I have better acceptance of the situation and focusing on my work and trying to have quality time with my friends and family all around the world even if it’s only via video or text.

Just meditate/breath, drink water or drink of your choice, and cheer up. We shall get our PR soon!

Wishing everyone happy Canada Day, July 4th, Summer - whatever, wherever you are in the world...

Hi All,
I am also in similar situation like many others whether inland or outland. I am outland copr Dec 16 by the way. I feel everyone's frustrations as I feel the same way. But here is something I have realized. We can expect wonders from the Canadian government, but we also have to take a step back once in a while and think that it is a very bizarre situation, beyond expectation of any country in the world. And now that we are in this situation we have to respect the measures Canada is taking to tackle the situation. And one big step is to stop inflow of people who can undo the progress ofcourse not intentionally. It is hard to trace people in incubation or have developed immunity without knowing but are very likely to infect others. I have thought like many of you here and blamed the Canadian government in my mind, but when I look at countries like USA and India, I feel that Canada has done a great job with controlling the situation and helping it's people financially. I think of Canada as my future home and I want it to be safe to move in to. Even if it takes a little longer, I will have to deal with that. Better safe than sorry. Things have been slow with immigration and it is because they had to redirect the resources to essential services. They are working at lower capacity, and they can either reply to webforms and gcms requests or use that time to process applications. By getting frustrated is the loss of our own sanity and energy. And no offense to friends who are at greater loss because they are going through financial loss, emotional suffering or for any other reason. I feel your pain and I pray that all this gets over soon and we get to experience the receipt of golden emails. Till then stay strong and safe. Only we can help us deal with this situation to great extent. Please don't take an offense, nothing is intentional. I feel that a little positivity in stressful situation goes a long way.

Best of luck to all!

I am sorry, but you are hugely underestimating the pain of other outland applicants. The disappointment and anger of outland applicants are fully justified. The Canadian government is not caring about formally conveying to outland applicants that their applications have been approved, let alone issuing them PPRs/COPRs. I respect the Candian government for many reasons, but, sorry, I must say that in dealing with outland applicants, the government is being extremely irresponsible.

And enough of this 'working at lower capacity'! They are conducting draws for inland applicants. If they are working at reduced capacity, shouldn't they first conclude the applications already in the process instead of doing new draws for inland applicants?

THE LEAST CANADIAN GOVERNMENT MUST DO PROMPTLY IS TO FORMALLY CONVEY TO OUTLAND APPLICANTS WHETHER THEIR APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND WHEN THEY WILL BE ISSUED PPRs/COPRs. AND SEVERAL CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN EXEMPTED FROM TRAVEL BAN, WHY CAN'T OUTLAND APPLICANTS WHOSE APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BE EXEMPTED? WE ARE WILLING TO GET TESTED OURSELVES AND/OR QUARANTINE OURSELVES.

Opening airports and letting new immigrants in is impossible. Last year there were 9.7 million passengers on YYZ alone, no way to test them all.
Allowing immigrants from certain regions to enter and refuse others (Brasil, India) is still not safe. One tennis tournament in Croatia counted 95 cases of Covid19, all starting from a single person.
Previous predictions that epidemic will end in June/July have proven wrong, and countries that have eased measurements are having to fight this all over again.

All in all, IMHO, I believe that we will not be allowed to enter Canada before the vaccine is in use. Maybe they'll open a short window in August, but chances are slim.

FSW Outland.
Everything passed and valid.

Mine was 20 June!
Just hold on.. I was also told that everything is passed and anyway we’ll hear from them. As far as I’m guessing people who have applied in November received PR during the first week of June, so probably we’ll get our COPR by first week of July (just my assumption)
Be positive!
Not really - I am AOR 26 Nov , PR approved in April - nothing yet
