Yes, i applied from 2018, did my medical and it was approved and everything else. The last update i got was from July 2019, that the document was in process, i called February and was told the same thing again that the document is still in process and they don't require anything more from me.
I also know someone who applied from December 2018 and still nothing. It Make Me Wonder

I check online to see how far they are in the processing of my application, it stated that it is still in process, so i called them the first week in February 2020, but was told that once they are not asking for anything, it is a good look, i just have to wait.

We receive pre arrival may 21 and still waiting for DM
I'V order note twice and nothings wrong with our files they just dont open our files very often
We use the help of MP ( this is the only thing that make move our file. )

Mp is your federal deputé not a reprensentant. We have lawer and use the help of the depute to wake them up in our case.
The thing is, the application is not free or cheap and the application can be done by yourself as long as you know what your doing. Whether you use professional or not and nothing is wrong with the application, they should have finish by now or almost finish. It is not just me, i know of other people here going through the same thing. You are just left out in the dark not knowing when they will give you a result. There is no timeline when they give you one.
