Hi everyone. Congratulations to all those who got their COPRs, do all of you got a landing phone call or only a few of you? just curious. I see that many with dependents got it or the ones with LMIA. I see they call from unknown number and email to reschedule the phone but do they call everyone?

you are right. i noticed they call applicants with LMIA and dependents. in my own opinion, they probably call applicants with LMIA to make sure that they are still connected with their employer amidst layoffs because of the current pandemic.

Got the golden mail today

AOR Dec 28,ME JAN 14, BM Jan21, GU on June 1 and COPR June 3...

Got a call in the morning 9 30 from A no caller I’d .. confirmed address and if my dependent living with me in Canada.. Received email from Ottawa after 30 mins with COPR docs attached


Got the mail after 30 mins ! Wait is worth it.. hang in tight there folks.. good luck to all .. thanks for all the help and inputs

Hello Guys,
Congrats to all who have received the golden email and wish the best for all you who are waiting just as I am.
I have a question I would like to ask your and seek you help.

I just realized that my RAD ( review of additional documents) which used to be "not applicable" after I submitted a RCMP form for my husband in March, just today (June 3 ) has changed to "we are reviewing the additional document that you provided". I have no idea why ? Do you guys have any idea? Is it a ghost update? Is it something good ? I am nervous.

The last time I asked for my status from an agent through webform was on May 29th:

• Your application is currently being processed at the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
• The responsible office reviewed the eligibility requirements. We may contact you if additional information is required.

· The security background verification has not been initiated.

· The criminal background verification is currently valid.

I got requested yesterday to send additional document. When I uploaded it the status changed to "the additional documents you provided has been uploaded." Then a few hours later it changed again to "JUNE 3,2020 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."

All that the website informs is that background check is being processed.

15 days left until the 6 month deadline is reached. Profile has basically not changed since 27 Jan when biometrics were completed
We are inland, Ontario CEC EE. Application done and submitted through immigration lawyers.
Feel a bit frustrated (We are from South Africa and have been in Canada on Work permits for last 2 years)

Same boat, VO? My case is stuck because I ended up in the wrong VO the one in Montreal where normally PR are given in 8.6 months without covid..

So the Website login is held by the lawyers on their account as representative. They send me a screenshot of the progress. It is a bit frustrating seeing that there are people that AOR'd in Mid/late January and already got their PoPR emails etc.

the last webform I received my VO was Sydney, NS and they hadn't even started the security validation. I received a ghost update yesterday and today I got the COPR.
AOR: December 15th

i know that reading this thread you get anxious about when is it gonna happen to me, i was in the same position seeing everyone else got their email except me. hang in there!!!! you will get yours soon, things are starting to resume.

It is frustrating but we have to remember they just started working almost at full capacity within the last 2 weeks. My AOR is Dec 22 and the only progress/ update I saw was yesterday when they asked for additional documents.
I think you will get yours soon, don't worry, there is a backlog for sure. I know people with Nov AOR and have not gotten CoPR yet.

I also think you should raise a webform... I am most positive you can do it for yourself even though you used an authorized representative.

Congrats ~ when u received ur last webform. I am in the same situation. Everything passed except security not started.
