Hi I didn’t bcz my government cancelled all my flights so they said they are gonna reschedule . Did you had your interview ?
Me neither. Because the outbreak of coronavirus, the Hong Kong government launches the quarantine assessment restriction. I am not able to go to Hong Kong until the cancellation of restriction, and wait for the reschedule appointment as well.

Probably a wise move.
We just had one traveler arrive here on a flight from HK. The local health authority
thinks they were infected in HK due to the incubation time and the individual is now in critical condition.
The local residence are not happy.... Better to be safe than sorry.

I understand the restriction. It's the best way to interrupt the spread of virus until now. And I don't think it's a good time for Chinese applicants who have PPR to go to Canada, because they maybe need to be quarantined or self-isolated and not be welcomed by the local residents.

My child and i are citizens and now sponsoring my husband. We have received the Medical Exam request for my husband AND my child, who is already a citizen. Is this normal request?

Thanks!

don't know why your child also need to do medical exam.
shouldn't you be the only one sponsor to sponsoring your husband? and your husband is the only one principle applicant?

Sorry about that, seems depends on case by case from my research so far but experts can chime in some advise.
