Called IRCC today. Criminality is valid. Security not started, eligibility still in the process. It's been 6 months and one day since AOR. I asked if they knew why my application was taking so long. The officer told me that one of the reasons for the delay nowadays was the airplane crash in Iran. My case is in Sydney and it should be finalized within weeks now. No red flags or anything else that I should be worried about.

Hi everyone,

I haven't still received a PPR. I moved to B.C, Canada in October AFTER getting an ITA and submitting my application and my medical test. Could that be a reason why I haven't heard anything?

My details -
AOR - September 21, 2019
Medical - Oct 10, 2019

Status - BG - "We are processing your background check..."
Medical - "You passed the medical exam"
Review Eligbility - "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

Is anyone out there in a similar situation?
Also, what should I expect next - since I am already in Canada a COPR wouldn't make sense.

Will appreciate any inputs you might have.

Nothing after MEP!!!
Never asked for status via WebForm nor via telephone!!!
No GCMS notes ordered!!!

Prayed a lot and crossed fingers a lot

This morning we received our PPR. It was unbelievable.

We learned that our VO was finally Ottawa (We didn't know about it before).

I know how much it is difficult to wait every day for that PPR email but you must believe in it.

Good luck to you all waiting for the golden email.

So after the adr on March 5th, I submitted my documents on March 6th and now the status has changed to ‘we are reviewing the additional documents’

Hello everyone, sending this message again. It seems to have fallen thru the cracks. Thanks in advance to you all for your wisdom
@legalfalcon and other Sr. Members, I have an inquiry for you guys but before a bit of a background for my application.

FSW-I based in ON
AOR: 07/Sep/19
BIL and MEP passed early Oct/19
ADR: on 26/Sep I was asked yo provide Canadian PCC.
GU: 20/Jan/20

On Feb 21st, I received a request to do the Medicals again (they were more than 1 year old) along with a comment in the vicinity of “your application has reached a point where results are required”.

New Medicals were done 22/Feb and the doctors office said it will take 7-10 days for the file to be transferred to CIC.

Questions:

1) Do I have to submit the proof of Medicals? If so, how? Web Form? Any links and/or guidance is appreciated. Please note that under the “Review of additional documents” section the status is: “We are reviewing the additional documents you provided” but I have not provided support yet.

2) From your experience, is the new med request a good sign? how long from today should I expect a decision?

Quick update:
1) Re Medicals shown MEP on 01/Mar on profile (8 days after visiting the physician). No GU or email received for that. Note that I did not have a slot to upload the Medical confirmation nor did I raise a Web Form to do it.
2) Received Golden email on 05/Mar. No GU or message on my online profile. Info still says something along the lines of “we are reviewing the info provided for ADR”. I learned that my VO was Ottawa
3) Passport and photos submitted today. Will update you about the lead time to receive CoPR.

Hello friends,

Here is a summary of my application, which crossed 6 months deadline 3 days ago :

AOR : sept 6th
MEP/BIL : sept 20th
Biometric submitted : sept 23rd
Transfer to Rabat LVO (ghost update) : oct 2nd


I ordered GCMS notes in february 4th from GetGCMS (5 months after AOR), and just received them this morning. Great service with total respect of deadline.

But I can't really understand where I might be in review required. In first page it seems to be eligibility, even though all points of eligibility seem to be ok in last pages (proof of funds, work experience, etc) except my PCCs which look to be in RR (spouse PCC is ok).

Also, last update seems to be a day before transfer to LVO, and nothing was done since then.

I rarely wake up in the middle of the night but I did today and happened to check my phone. The account was disappointing cos it showed no progress but after I logged out I checked my email and that’s when I saw I have an email saying ‘ready for visa’

my question is what is "eligibility met/done" mean is it passed or under review?
