Re-posting.

Please request someone to help me.

My query is pertaining to work experience.

1 ) Is it mandatory to have CONTINOUS work experience for all the 3 years ?

2) I have done part-time work ( 24hrs per week ) for 2 continous years in my primary NOC .So does part time work that I did for 2 continous years stand valid because I heard that only full time work is considered

3) The following year ,I was hired as a tutor for 1 year ( its like a private tution ) and the buisness runs as per the students that come in.
As per the agreement I am associated with them for 1 full year .
But i was given only 1 month of work as per the students influx to the tution.
The rest of the months ,there weren't any students.
(Had there been , definetly i would have been paid )
So how can I claim points for this ?
Only for the 1 month that I was paid or for 1 full year ?

Kindly can someone clarify.
Thank you

Is there any possibility of a country quota to be applied to Express Entry? More than half of the ITAs issued in 2018 was for just two countries. USA does have similar quota strategy but I am not sure how.

You have to calculate the full time equivalency of your work (full time for EE being 30hours/week). If your hours were 24, then 24/30=4/5...so your full time experience will be considered 4/5*24 months for 2years and so on.

You only need this for your letter of experience. Otherwise the system calculates it by itself. Doesnt need to be 3yrs continuous.

As for the last part, I am not quiet sure.

Are you still in India? If so, I think the PCC is valid although I do believe you should get a new PCC because if you PCC expires in the process, you'll be asked to provide a new PCC. If you don't live in India anymore, you definitely need to get a new PCC and the date on it should be the day you left India; if my memory serves me correctly, some people got refused soon after they submitted their applications because the PCC from their home countries was issued before they moved abroad.
I am in India only.

M just concerned if I should go for new PCC or not and If I apply for new PCC after ITA. how much will it take?

any draw tomorrow
I think we are all really hoping that there will be, and looking at the trends there is a chance!

I went and did a bit of research. From the beginning, there has been a trend that IRCC does draws every two weeks. They usually follow a 3 week gap with a B2B draw. The only year there was no B2B draw was 2017 and that is because with the holidays Dec / Jan they kept the 2 week intervals and drew on 22 Jan and then again on 4 Jan. The other years where there was a 3 week gap over Dec / Jan, they had a B2B in Jan.

That being said, there is also no way of knowing for sure but I certainly have my hopes up.

Hello everyone,
I’m the PA and my spouse is coming with me. We are applying through FSW. So my husband who isn’t the PA, has applied previously to the US for a visit visa. Whilst doing this, he applied as a couple with someone who also wanted a visa, they actually weren’t married. They were both rejected though and right now the girl is late. Will they inquire about his travel history? Do we state he was married and get her death certificate? Who has knows how such a background check is conducted . Will they find out he applied with someone? Would it matter that he's not applying with the same person now? I can't tell. These are all unanswered
questions that could complicate my. Who has any info I would really appreciate it.

They will not directly introduce country quotas. The quotas are a legacy from a racist time in US and is currently under the process of scrapping them. It is just the beurocratic system and immediate side effects of scrapping the quotas that it is still in place. They would never be able to introduce a new law with such quotas today. What they can do is change the point system to make it harder for people from certain countries. For example they could reduce the education equivalency for master degrees from those countries to bachelors and bachelors to diploma. Hence this way awarding less points and making it difficult to make the cutoff.

Yeah, the point system and the high score now pretty much make it impossible for people without any Canadian connection and from non-English/French speaking countries to get invitations unless they're lucky enough to have PNP.
