Yesterday we received an additional document request for providing additional marriage photos, which we had included in our original 20 photos. We have been married for 3 years now and we had included photos from various occasions including engagement, wedding and vacation trips with our friends and families.

We were surprised to receive this letter yesterday. Not sure what additional details IRCC is expecting.

We were provided with an email address as well for providing photos for faster processing. But below ask mentions about printed photos. Should we send photos through both mail and email?

Any suggestions on how to approach this?

"Marriage photos: If you were married according to the rites, customs, and/or traditions of India,
please submit printed photos of the principal applicant and the sponsor with relatives and
friends. Photos submitted should include photos of the wedding ceremony (Lavan Phere
and/or Anand Karaj)."

That's weird....Did you linked using Sponsor or PA gckey account ?
I had linked using the Sponsor email address. I had to call IRCC to resolve this. After repeating the standard script that this is expected, finally agent spoke with backend support and they found some glitch in the system. So he sent a memo to CPC as well for issuing emails and not letters as such.
Yesterday my wife received email for a document request. It seemed to have worked.

Hello!

Application Sent: September 12, 2019 from Vancouver
Application Received:
Sponsor: Canadian citizen (my spouse)
Principal Applicant's Country: United States

I'm working with an immigration consultant who thinks it will be a couple of months before we're reviewed and get a file number.

Hi how was your application? Any update? We have the same file. My husband also US Citizen but he live with me here in Canada but we still chose to file outland.

Hi everyone, when you submit additional document, does it take a while for the GCKey application status to change from "Your Action is Required" to "Submitted"? Status of Additional documents says it is being reviewed though. Thanks!

Hi there, did anyone from September not received their AOR yet?

Mine arrived at the post office in Sydney on Sept 27th 2019 but I have not heard anything about my application. If it was incomplete, I would have received package if it was sent back by now (I live in Canada).

I sent mine back on September 23rd and received AOR on November 5th. Did you check your spam folder? If yes and nothing was there then call IRCC and inquire. They might as for specific info (not sure of what) but better to make the call!

If you hired a representative, ask updates from them. I did and it was in his spam folder.

Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know a number that I could call? I tried the one listed on the IRCC website but it is an automated telephone service.

I received the same request as well. There was a option to upload the photos to the GCKey application Portal. I did that. Also there is an email address you can send the photos. So I sent them to that email address as well. Hopefully I will receive a confirmation, if not I am planning to post the printed photos as well. Let me know how you are planning to get this done. I sent them 50 Photos from our wedding. Hopefully that's enough lol.

No it doesn't. Once you submitted.. it changed to submitted right away... check your ECAS, you might have a decision made if no additional documents are needed... in my case, when I saw the GCkey saying the "additional document is being reviewed" ECAS is showing decision made... and the GCkey will changed after you have submitted the passport and they have visa stamp.
