Tell me about it. I cleared IELTS in 7 attempts, 6 of them over a span of 8 months. Ironically, I work in a call center, and have been speaking English for a living for over 10 years.

With a score of 455, I sensed the outrageous increase in cut-off back in August so I sent my Masters degree to CES. In the meantime, I cleared IELTS (CLB 10 except for writing) and got into the pool with 455. CES gave me Masters which increased my score to 462 last week.

But I have a short window of 1 month to land an ITA as I lose the points gained on Masters on my birthday next month. I will be back to 456. If I don't make it to the other end, I probably won't have any regrets but still, the burden of failure will be huge man.

I think this is the best post so far - defines what the 450+ lot is feeling.

I hear you sir !

@Dheana90 will 465 be cleared by year end considering 3 more draws including 1 b2b? Or shall I try to get clb 10 in writing and speaking which will move my crs to 471?

Currently sitting at 463 and hopelessly worried after all the negative predictions happening here.
Just my analysis. From the past 3 years, Cic has been having 25 rounds of draw every year( excluding pnp only and fstp). So does that mean there are still changes for 4 draws this year?
Or cic doesn’t really follow any pattern and even at 463 I need to be so anxious and pray some miracle happens and I get an invite in 2019

There's no hope for that score.

They don't want to take your case because student visa requires a lot of work, probably same or a little bit less than EE, but they make much less money.

Just apply for student visa yourself. If you can't handle the visa application, I doubt if you can handle the study here.
I think once you applied for the EE your intention is to stay, this conflict with your student visa. Apparently that’s why they don’t want to get your application. :( seems like agent has F*** us Royally.

Yes we do give them permission but they do not have the permission to ask from the bank directly as the bank cannot disclose this information to anyone calling and saying I am the visa officer from Canada. (that's what I think logically) and I have few frndz working in bank! They said the same. The thing is that I have an investment opportunity which will come most likely between this time! So I was wondering if I can do both together I.e do the investment and show cic the funds in account as well.

in such cases where IRCC wants to know something about the file they then send it to local VO where they have all the access to get the information my friend

I think b2b draw is certainly going to happen this year and it's effect will be much more pronounced for 464+ candidates as they haven't accumulated that much compared to lower scores. Thus, in case of a b2b draw ,we can expect a sharp decline probably 5-6 points in cutoff until 464 but below that it will hardly make a 2-3 points dip.CRS coutoff could reach 462 by year end in the best case and in the worst case 464.
So, expect something around 462-464 in the last draw of 2019 if CIC conducts 3 draws this year.
But, scenario of 4 draws could result in CRS touching 460 mark.
