Hello there,

My husband has applied for PR under provincial nomination from Alberta and I am included as a dependent (spouse) in his application and I am living with him as a visitor since then. He has applied under NOC C level job. Application was received by CIC on December 05, 2018. AOR was sent to us on February 26, 2019. We received Medical Requests for both of us on July 18, 2019. CIC updated on our account that you have passed the Medical on August 02, 2019. After that we received Invitation to pr-arrival services letter on August 30th, 2019.

Now, we called CIC customer service a month ago so around October 01st, 2019 to know the status of our application and the agent said all the steps are done i.e. Medical, Background check (criminality and security) and Eligibility. They said everything is complete and your file is in good standing and no more steps are pending to process in your application.

My concern is:
a) if everything is done why we have not got the PPR yet?
b) why our online account is not showing that Eligibility and background check is completed?

It simply says that 'We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements' and 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information'. No additional documents are requested, no interview is requested.

Does anyone have any insight to why this is happening or any idea what might be going on or how long should we expect to get the PPR?

Sounds like they process yours long time?
I got my COPR and passport stamp already.
Yeah man.
I have now requested for GCMS notes to know what exactly are they waiting on now or did the officer just forget to send the PPR lol
A month ago CIC said everything is done and your application is in good standing. So, I am wondering what is left then?
