I got refused today. Planning to reapply asap. My course starts january 2020.

what do you guys think is better in applying?

Paper based or Online?

You can reapply for sure. Update your SOP and mention about this refusal. Also make sure you mention your future plans and goal, and reason why you wan to study in canada and how this education will help you? Good Luck.

If possible can you please let us know the reason for refusal? and is your application is SDS? or Non SDS?, How did you get the decision and at what time?

hi i linked it at cic, make your account on cic then link application
It's asking for an application number and UCI, I don't have those po. I submitted my application to VFS and the last message they sent me was this po:

"Visa application, tracking ID No. 20191016XXXXXXXXXXXXX is under process at the IRCC Office."

how does acknowledgment letter looks like? I never received one

Student acknowledgement is an email sent i got from Delhi consulate. It just contain my UCI, Application number and mentioned that your application is process. Nothing much information in that.

Check your receipt or confirmation letter or email or any other communications related to your application, you may find one. UCI is a 10 digits numeric number

I did not receive any other sort of confirmation aside from the one I mentioned. I haven't even gotten an AOR but it said my application is under process at the IRCC Office last October 17

I think i didnt have a strong sop since my agency doesnt really help me with anything. Theyre lacking of infos. I applied under non SDS , im planning to re apply under SDS will that be okay?

Reason of refusal
-Purpose of visit
-Limited employment prospects in my country of residence
-Based on your current employment situation
-Personal assets and financial status
-Based on your family ties in Canada and in my country of residence.

just a little background of my profile is my sponsor is my wifes uncle. He has no kids so he has been like a father figure to me and my wife. I only have 1 travel history. My wife and i just got married a few months ago. I will be pursuing computer network, i was a graduate of BS IT 4 years course. And i also think the refusal was i didnt give any itr from my current employment.

but what else do you guys think i should improve with my application? HELP!

but worst scenario. Were planning my wife will be the one whos going to apply student instead of me but she graduated BS in tourism, what course can she take? But we just really think her application will be stronger since its his uncle who is sponsoring, plus his parents have good financial proofs and she also have alot of travel history she even have a canada tourist visa and u.s visa. Should we just apply her instead of me?

When making an SOP never mention po na you'll stay sa Canada after your studies, make sure na your sole purpose is to study there then uwi sa Pinas. If you can, attach a job order or a contract from your future employer pero if you cannot, provide job prospects instead

It doesn't matter naman if sino ang nagsosponsor as long as you've enough funds para sa stay niyo sa Canada. Since you mentioned na your wife has good financial proofs and good travel history mas okay cguro if siya yung principal applicant, make sure lang you have very concrete reason to come back to the Philippines

1. If you meet SDS Requirements you can certainly apply for that.
2. As you mentioned, wife uncle is a far away relationship to you so your sop could’ve explained well about this and why he is your sponsor.
3. Your wife also can apply select a course related to her filed( MS in tourism after BS tourism). But end of the day visa officer need to be convinced and her sop should be strong.
4. As per my knowledge your parents or your own sponsership gives you an additional weight to an application.

Please consult your consultancy who applied your visa.

Can i also ask regarding SOWP? Can a spouse use the same sponsor used for the student applicant?
