Traveling to Thailand and Dubai do not count as travel history from IRCC's perspective. They are looking for past travel to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK.

It's generally very difficult for young single people from the Philippines to be approved for TRVs to Canada. Generally IRCC can be concerned that given your lack of ties to your home country, you have plans on remaining in Canada long term. Land is regarded as a tie if it's in your name - the car is not at all a strong tie.

How long a trip did you request? How much money did you show to support your trip? What evidence did you provide for proof of employment?

A Dubai/UAE visa is not considered strong travel history at all, is the point.

4k CAD is also very low. A round-trip plane ticket between the Philippines and Canada costs at least 2k, and an expected budget is 1k per week. You’ll be out of money by going on this trip. Which is why IRCC expects that you will want to find work in Canada instead.

But I will only stay for not more than 2 Weeks

What advice can you give me

2 weeks times CAD 1k = 2000
plus 2000 airfare
Equals 4000.

we advise young people to have CAD 10,000 at the very minimum as savings, if travelling alone.

Choose another travel destination for your vacation apart from Canada. Sorry if it sounds harsh. You’d be denied a US visa too. Until you earn more savings and get a better job position, you’ll just be wasting your time and money on a TRV application.

Even if my friend invited mo and he will provide the food and stay ? I will be staying for 10 days I’ve met my friend last year here in the Philippines

Is it a good idea if I let my mother write a letter that she will finance or give money whenever I ask or I have to during my stay?

For Canadian TRVs, you have to show that you can afford the trip on your own. That’s why even if your friend and mother will help finance your trip, you will still be denied a visa.

if there was a way for us to advise you to be approved for a visa, we would tell you right away. But unfortunately, your profile is still very weak, and there are no short-term fixes available for you. You can try again in a few years when you have at least 10k CAD and a better monthly salary.

What's the reasoning for 1K/wk. I feel this is on higher side, since I have experienced it for around 10 days. I was with my family in a hotel, even with food and local travel it was not 1K/wk. Just wondering, if I'm missing any other point.
