So I did some more data digging from immitracker. Looks like there is a significant reduction in the number of PPRs being issued. The reduction is significant in August and September (Sep data till today). Also, seems like there is a country wise quota too. I have taken the country of residence as a data point as that seemed to be relevant over a quick glance on immitracker.

Unfortunately immitracker doesn't let you download data. Otherwise it would have been quite easy. So I have to manually filter on their site every time and check the number of filtered cases. It is painful.

I am seeing my journey in a completely different perspective now. I pretty much don't care anymore how long it takes for them to process my application. The only thing that matters is it will be processed eventually. I'm just going to forget about my case for 1 year. It will come when it comes.

Not the news that anyone wants to hear, just woke up to a refusal.

1) PG Diploma was missing from WES Summary so the officer concluded I do not have two degrees.
2) Officer was not satisfied I worked for the employer I declared since I didn't provide IT returns. I had a low salary so I was tax exempt. My employer provided with a salary certificate mentioning I was tax exempt, payslips but still employer was not convinced.
3) Gift deed was not accepted even though the funds has been sitting in my account for more than a year collecting interest.

Oh well back to the good old Ray of Hope days

i am so sorry to hear this...i know how agonizingly painful each day was to pass and then only to be refused...i hope this new ita gets u the pr quickly

I got a ghost update , no apparent change in the profile. I had eligibility RR for a NOC mismatch & POF since Dec.18th & I have requested addition of my newborn son to the application 3 weeks ago, what is this update supposed to mean ??
P.S.: I can’t call IRCC to check since they have disabled the Outland calls , I already tried text now app. but it always gives a connection error so it isn’t working , any help ?

There is no way to find out other than calling them (which you can't do anymore). Any ghost update is an indication that they are working on your file and you are getting closer to PPR.

Hey there, I just posted a while ago about a ghost update in my account, just got another one but it isn’t ghost that time , it is a change in the medical status , the old status was passed on Dec.3rd , the new one is passed on Sept.19th. Is this the so called medical extension?? Does it have any significance??
please I need advise on this , I was calm & just ignored the 1st ghost update, now I’m starting to bite my nails & as mentioned before I can’t call IRCC to check since they have disable Outland calls. TIA
