3) 21st Dec 2018 request for access to this money for the purpose of settling in Canada from spouse


I have not seen any update since. i have opened couple of web form request they gave me a date 16th June but i did not get an update yet. i opened couple after that but all replied with general reply. that my file is taking longer.

is there anything i can do ?

did you order gcms notes or write to MP's office?

Yes brother... I had RR for ECA... As IQAS forgot to mention no. of years in my PG.
My medical was due to expire on 31st Aug'19 as per MP Ralph's mail.
Just keeping my fingers crossed... As I am about to complete my 11th month of wait in a few days... Nothing can be said about IRCCs functionality...

where number of years need to mention in ECA? I do see 4 years for bachelor but just degree name for PG.

In my GCMS notes, the only RR I currently have is for proof of fund. But in the same note, the agent said Review Required: proof of fund: Ready to finalize

Do you guys thinks that I need to send any document or something to them to better clarify the PoF?

guys!!!!!! today i renounce my title of @bornloser113 and anoint my self the new name "bornwinner". guys i finally got the PPR at 2:46 am IST...woke up at abt 3:30 to wee and saw the notification...it was Ready for visa...i can't thank enough god for this and all those who supported me throughout this journey...almost everybody who were active on this blog have graduated/got ppr...let me try to recall a few names @karishmar @Prabha22 @apurvchaudhary @kzeed12 @Sonyablade and of course @SithLord the most active positive guy...i may be forgetting a whole lot of people, pardon me ...
thanks all for ur support.. my shoulders feel lighter today...not that my life is not shitty but at least it a bit less shittier today...i had left my job just before my PR application and was in total depression being jobless and almost everything was in RR ( unable to confirm job , noc not consistent, RR even for funds) my life was so gloomy that i did not even wish to live any more...sorry for spreading melancholy...all i can say to all those who haven't received ppr is that if i can receive it despite all these RRs you definitely will...my agent was such a bozzo he didnt evn upload my salary slips ...after getting my gcms i freaked out and proactively sent new updated reference info of all my bossses and company and all my salary slips...anyway ...enough of that..i pray that everyone here who has been waiting since almost an year gets their pprs...i am actually heading to nearest vfs office to submit my passport...
here is my timeline

1) 13th OCT 2018 aor
2) 9th November medical pass
3) 12th march ip2
4) received gcms on 1st june and got to know rr, so sent the docs on 10th june
5) 17th august remed request finally a ray of hope
6) 19th august uploaded remed receipt
7) checked on 26th august evening IST, saw u passed re-med on 26th
8) on 27th morning IST at 4 am saw a mail. thought it could be ppr but no..it was a generic response for the remed receipt that i had uploaded
9) woke up today 28th august at 3:30 am to go wee and saw the ppr mail!!!

best wishes to everyone and i am getting the hell outta here..i need to see FALL season..spring would have been better but its ok

I submitted my completed application on Sept 17, 2018 (# of points: 476). Since then the only update I received was on Oct 12, 2018 which said that I have passed the medical. Per the website, the process was to be completed by Mar 17, 2019. The website also says that the background check is in process and they are reviewing my eligibility. The automated system is saying that it is not able to find the application, though the help-desk rep. has confirmed that the application is being processed. Below are a few things I have learned so far from my conversation with the help-desk.

- There was no Visa Officer assigned to my case as of July. A new VO was assigned in July
- Documents seem fine. The help-desk guy said that its just a waiting game at this point

I applied for the GCMS notes a couple weeks back, should hear back in a week or so. Is anyone else here also in a similar situation? If so, have you taken any steps to expedite the process? It's a bit frustrating, there are a few companies which are interested in having me but I can't move forward 'coz I don't have the PR!

Gcms notes would give you details on eligibility and background check - you could also write to MP's office to know more on the status ..

@Prabha22 Now that you have passed the hurdle and got PPR - when you look back - dont you think that everybody here is going to get PPR - soon just coz you have gone through the delay and know the feeling of waiting? .. Just a thought

Yes yes - what is the reason for RR on pof - what does your gcms say ..

i sent in updates bank letter and 6 months statement in june just to be on the safer side

Looks like a medical extension - why dont you call and confirm - if it is a med extension - you are almost there

The confusing part is that they did not put any details at all! The agent just said Review Required for PoF docs. However, above the same note in the Summary Notes it says: Review Required: PoF docs: Ready to Finalize.

Do you think you missed out on anything - if you have any updated bank documents and letters - feel free to go ahead and send it using webform - who knows if that will trigger something..
If you think the pof part is covered - just have to wait till you are closer to med exp ..
