I've worked at the same place for 7 years, and was promoted 3 times during that period, so I got a separate letter from my employer about those 3 separate positions. The letters were detailed with my job descriptions, working hours as well as my salary at the time. All of them on the company letterhead and stamped as well.
Thanks a lot friend ☺

Hello @legalfalcon. Just received my PPR and I'm getting ready to change my status to permanent resident. I have a full time job (with a letter from my employer) and my wife also works full-time (self-employed, with a work contract) and I'm working on getting a letter for her as well. Is that enough for POF when landing? Or do I still need a bank statement?

If you received the PR under FSW, you will have to show a the POF, unless you have a job in Canada. A job offer is not enough. The job should be one where you should be working. Only the PA has to show the PoF or the job.

This is your status as per your MyCIC account. This is irrelevant and you can only speculate the status your application is at.

All application go though the following:

R10
Medicals
Criminality
Eligibility
Security

To know the status of your GCMS notes consider requesting your GCMS notes, or you can wait it out.

If both your designation were under the same NOC you can just get one reference. Also add a LoE and explain why your jib reference letter does not have the jiob duties in it.

Hi Legalfalcon,

Thank you very much for you reply.

Just a quick follow-up query, pls:

What if I move to Canada only after I get my PR (based on the LMIA-approved job offer) but decide not to take up that job offer due to getting a better (or comparable) package from another Canadian employer or even from my existing employer through an intra-company transfer?

Is there any legal compulsion that I have to join the organisation that provided me the LMIA-approved job offer?

Kindly share your views...thanks in advance.
You become a PR only after you land and you are admitted. As soon as you become a PR upon landing, you can do any job and there is no compulsion to join the one that was offered to you for which you claimed points.

Dear sir, As informed you earlier i submitted adr divorce decree( post ppr divorce scenario), i uploaded docs on 1st aug but due to tech glitch one tab to. Upload the adr with earlier deadline (i took one month extension) was displaying on some occasions.on 15th August I uploaded Adr on that tab too and my status changed from your action is pending to submitted. Next day the additional docs status changed - the additional docs are uploaded in your application. On 20th aug status changed to we are reviewing your docs. Today on 23rd there was update as my medical expired yesterday, the status changed to we do not require medicals.

Now since along with adr I have recently requested med extension till sept end. Shall I wait for their reply in coming week as rhey have not yet replied to my webform and mail raised on 10th August or I shall go for upfront medical and upload same. What I understand is that they are verifying divorce docs at present. Since I am in hurry please guide best way.
Thanks and Regards
If your meds have expired, IRCC will ask you to get remed before the approval of your application or give you an extension. So wait until IRCC asks you for a re-med.

Dear @legalfalcon,

I would greatly appreciate and would love if you could spear a moment to comment on my partner's and mine case.

AOR Sep. 25th 2018, FSW, 2 applicants (Common Law), inland, Montreal visa office (from late November), never were requested to give biometrics.
Afterwards, we've moved back home in April 2019, and in June got biometrics request letter for both of us.
BUT once we went to give the information, the VFS guy told us that the official request letter was incomplete and that both the bar-code and the application reference numbers were missing. Fortunately, he consulted with his superior, and we were processed there and then.
BUT, again, when we submitted the info/ confirmation mid June, we did mention in our Letter of Explanation that the official biometrics request was erroneous, and after I've confirmed with the call agent that they have received the biometrics, I was told they have 30 days to process the docs.
45+ days later, we've gotten the ghost update on PA's email - I got super excited - BUT that was just them making a note to the technical team there was a problem with the request letter. I am so mad at my self for even mentioning the darn thing in the LoE, but was afraid if we don't, things might go sour/ another glitch could happen/ wanted to let them know they are making mistakes that could potentially turn into real problems.

We did, however, learn (twice via call agents) that our Eligibility and Security has been passed, and they are processing our Criminality which, as we were told, has to do with the biometrics. Which, to be honest, is not the usual process that we've been reading about in this forum - the Criminality should be the second, and Security last level before decision-making.
The medicals have expired mid July, and we haven't received re-medical request, it just says "You don't need bla bla", same as in biometrics section. Ever since we've uploaded the biometrics, our Additional doc. section states: "Not Applicable".
Oh, yeah, in GCMS notes from February 2019, Criminality was recommended pass by the Agent, but at that stage Eligibility was still processing. We were on RR (by Agent) for PA's visitor status extension refusals.

Anyhow, in our last call there was no mention (I explicitly asked) of a note, due-date or any timeframe. It'll be a year of processing in no time.

If you or anybody have any comment on this or some suggestion, I'd love to hear it.
Thank you.

Good luck to all of us!

Hello,

My AOR was 14th January 2019, and as you can make out, it's been over 7 months now with only bio and mep.
Ordered gcms twice back in May and it Said review required for client information, shall I request another now?
I also uploaded a doc a few months ago as a proactive measure, does that add to the total time line? Do I also need to attach a gift deed which I didn't last time.
Pl share some light.
Thanks.

I do have a job. Hours, salary, NOC, duties and all that is explained in a letter from my manager. It does not have a LMIA though. Is just the letter enough?

Hello Everyone!

I have received an ITA but I am going to decline it.

The reason being I made several errors in my EE application with respect to work experience. I forgot to mention a job experience completely for points and I entered the duration of another job wrong.

Post declining ITA, I am going to make several changes to the work experience section of my profile and then submit for an ITA again.

I'm just worried they'll see my previous ITA with several differences from the first ITA, review it harshly and even deem it as misrepresentation.

Any advice anyone? @legalfalcon

I received the a request letter for RPRF under additional documents and I paid it the same moment and transmitted the receipt. And its been this way since the last week. Also I had a 7 day grace period under which I had to pay my fees. Does this information help me in any case?

I tried contacting IRCC through the 613 number but keeps disconnecting due to high volume of calls.
