I have already. Short version, the checkbox to allow the CIC to contact CRA was somehow cut from my wife's printed application. Mine and our daughter's were returned with note saying they were considered complete but were being returned because they had to be processed along with other family members. So we reprinted my wife's application and resent them all.

How long did they take to return the application?

BTW, I requested for postage refund, here's what it said:

I have the same questions, i think most of us has the same question.

But as others are saying, right now, IRCC is responding to mid May applicants. and waiting is 70+ days (2 and half months). so you should get some response by mid October.

Others correct me here, is there anything else we expect before that October time.?

What else we can do, support each other for now.

Since May has started getting AOR within 2 months we should expect less time for June and July (being positive)

Good Luck friends i hope we all will start hearing on AOR soon (as we dont want to see applications returns)

When they will send us an AOR it means that the application is correct and it’s not going to be returned or they still can return it after? When I will know for sure that I have nothing to worry about?

Once u have AOR then all set on the application. Only thing after that is approval or rejection.

So AOR is the key which tells that u dont need to resend the application

Guys sadly my application got returned today on Application incomplete basis

They are looking for child's birth certificate so both children application considered as incomplete though Adults application were complete. But they returned all as family.

I wonder why didn't they asked for certificate by email or mail. I would have send it easily rather sending the whole application back.

I believe now i am delayed for another 2-3 months as i m out of the line and would go in the same process again.

Hi, Sorry to hear that. Your application received by them on July, 2nd and when you received it back today it means they don't keep applications on a waiting queue until AOR date. They start to work on applications a month earlier than AOR date because these days they are sending out AOR for 29 to 31 May applications.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope you can resubmit ASAP not to lose more time than necessary.

Well Cant say how much time it takes between return or AOR. That might happen at the same time- lets say they see its complete they will send AOR or they will return. After seeing its complete i dont think they should take more time to send AOR.

May be fellow members can throw some light on that.

Guys since i have to attached only one doc to my kids application , i was wondering if i can use the same application forms or i have to use new forms to resubmit.

things to consider

a) all application got stamps of receiving by CPC (which may help to determined as resubmitted application) or in other words may not take the same time to process as the new application
b) Version of forms - as per their letter they say i can use October 2017 and onward version. So i should be good with old version of forms (12-2018 and 02-2019) ? they have new versions now though
c) Is it good idea to change the forms of kids to new versions of forms with requested docs attached or the whole lot of docs should new ?
