Hello everybody, need to clarify my confusion. In Nov when I applied, my proof of funds for 2 persons were $ 17,700 approx whereas at that time $15,530 required. I have checked today that proof of funds for 2 persons has changed from $15,530 to $15,772. Whereas in my account I have $15,999, so I am safe.

Reason of explaining the whole situation are as follows;

1- I have RR on Sibling Residence, CAN CIC STILL CHECK MY BANK ACCOUNT? because as per GCMS, they have mentioned proof of funds PASS.
2- Will my proof of funds requirement be checked on the basis of Nov i.e., $15,530 or as per today's trend i.e., $15,772 ?
Proof of funds do not get locked ... They change with currency fluctuation ... So keep an eye that they don’t fall below the required amount ..,. N if u see it falling please add money and upload updated bank statement... Be on safe side ...

Hi, can someone pls. advice here.

I had the required funds in the form of FD and uploaded bank certificate stating those can be liquidated as and when needed.

Bank statement was not reflecting any balance (as funds in FD only).

1. Is it ok to have such a bank statement uploaded?

2. Am i supposed to upload a new bank certificate post FD maturity date? Funds still in FD and not liquidated.

I finally received my GCMS notes (still not update in my profile):

Org Crime:

Info Sharing: Complete

I was wondering how long the Security will take. Any ideas ?

This is incorrect, IRCC uses the conversion rate of the day you submitted your application i.e AOR. Hence you do not have to worry about any fluctuations as long as you had enough funds at the time of submission.

Nope, there have been numerous cases where people were either put in RR or out right rejected for POF exchange rate fluctuations.

They can also ask for updated POF at anytime during the application process.

Keep an eye out for exchange rates and it's always advisable to show more funds than the required amount to be on the safer side

I heard that it normally takes between 25 to 90 days, but every case is different.

when was the last day the file was worked on.. latest update on gcms ..
The assessment looks fine as per gcms
What does it say about Criminality/ Security/ Eligibility

Check cic’s website about ircc offices. Your local office may or may not be able to answer your questions. For instance in USA we have two offices and both of them don’t deal with PR applications applied through express entry. So I had to always either call IRCC or send a webform. Check @USProgrammer ’s signature on how to call.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. My Canada PR AOR is 27th November. I have submitted request for GCMS notes. While I am waiting for it, I was thinking of contacting IRCC. Is there a phone number that people who applied from outside Canada under Federal Express Entry can contact at?

Thanks in advance!
