Exactly...They changed the ita to apply for pr time from 90 to 60 days, last year when we applied our files ... which rushed the number of files ... to make it worst they were giving 3900 ITA’s per draw and even 3 draws a month(approx 12000 ita’s a month)... they continued it till January...which created huge backlogs ...To fix it they right away had to reduce it to 3350 per draw and only 2 draws a month which lasted till last month ... they increased the number of draws to 3600 last month, which means they have reached the calculated backlog clearing goal ... 6 months from January will end this month ... so they will process all backlogs in aug and sept
To be fair, draws have usually been every two weeks, which means most months will have 2 and every 10 months or so 3, they were not regularly having 3 draws a month last year. The exemption is skilled trades only draws, which are only a free hundred invitations and barely impacts us.

But there must be some reason for the delays ... And then why did they decrease the number down to 3350?

Reason for delay - too many apps and too few to work on it - as well as third party org's doing security and maybe criminality check

Hi All,
Below are the details of my timeline:

AOR- 30 November 2018
Medicals Passes- 12 Jan 2019
VO-Ottawa

After this was complete silence. No updates.
Called CIC on 3 June- No update/ asked the agent to set a reminder he refused and said he thinks there is no need to set a reminder
Called on 7 June - No update. The agent said nothing has started on my profile. Even the eligibility showed- still reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements. Asked the agent to set up a reminder to which he told that has already been set up on 3 June (where in the agent whom I called before was In no mood to set up a reminder but somehow his mood changed)
They asked me to call now after 3 July.
Called on 23 June - The agent again informed that nothing has started on the profile.
28 June- GCMS notes ordered (which I didn’t receive and are irrelevant now)
Checked profile online there wasn’t any update on my profile also.
Raised a web form to which we got a generic response that it’s in queue.
Email to Ralph -here also the luck didn’t favored and got a response that we should reach out to IRCC for any immigration related query.
Called CIC 7 July- No update on profile. Asked the agent to setup another reminder to which he refused and said he can setup another reminder in August only.
Called CIC 22 July – Agent said that background check has started. Nothing was updated on our account. Eligibility still not met and account showed reviewing whether you meet eligibility. Agent has no information on eligibility part.

PPR- 26 July (don’t know about Ghost update as the login access is with the consultant)

Thank you all- This forum has helped a lot in these months by giving the motivation and patience that was needed. Don’t worry guys they are working on our profiles just a day here and there for all. Have faith it will come.

Will be coming back to this forum till everyone gets the PPR mail.

Wishing all the best!!

Congrats Smriti .. Happy for you :)

The long wait and all the effort reaching out to them paid off :)

Finally Ralphs office got overwhelmed with IRCC requests and i do not think they would contact IRCC anymore - bummer

Yeah, they have been playing with the number of invitations. Used to be 2500, went all the way up to 3900 in November, then down to 3350, then up to 3600... but frequency has been pretty much the same

I'm on the same boat! AOR Nov 14th 2018, no updates since medicals passed on December 18th. Called a few times once the 6 months were reached and kept hearing the same thing, even ordered GCMS notes in May and found out my application has been recommended to be finalized since December 28th (and that was the last date someone worked on my file). Eligibility met, Criminality in progress, security not started. We actually managed to get the officer to even send a reminder to the agent in charge a few weeks ago, got a generic reply and again, nothing's happened.
Just know that you're not alone, there are many of us in the same situation. So hopefully they'll get to us soon!
Hey did you try emailing CPC? Is that your center?
Webforms, calls nothing helped us. But we sent an email to CPC explaining the delay and frustration of our file not even picked up and we got a generic reply, but got the PPR in one week. The email had details about all our calls, and responses received so far, and how they need to get this escalated if required.

Hey! I haven't emailed the CPC Ottawa address, no... However, last time we called the officer did send a reminder and we got a generic response from the CPC Ottawa address, not from the "donotreply" address, as it usually is. It's been 23 days already since the reminder was sent, so I'm guessing that didn't work either. Do you think it'd help if I email them directly even after the reminder??

Anyone who ordered GCMS notes thru getgcms last month (June 2018)?
There seems to be some delay. It's been more than 35 days already.
When I ordered thru ATIP in April, I got the notes after 3 mos in July... I was hoping the 2nd notes would not get delayed but it seems the circumstance says otherwise.o_O

Hi everyone ,
Sorry to post this here however need help in understanding the post PPR process..please advise..

Got my PPR on 24th July, submitted passport to vfs office Bangalore ,India on 25th July.
1)My medicals is expiring in Oct 22nd. If copr validity is later than medical expiry, should we land before medical expiry?
2) how long do u think they will give time to do the hard landing? Understand it's until medical expires but it's expiring in oct and is too soon to relocate, will they give some more time?

Any inputs will be much appreciated.
Thanks
