Hi
Quick question regarding my wife's Citizenship application:
She'll eligible soon to apply Citizenship(Oct 2019) just wondering is it ok if she apply in advance for PCC (BLS Calgary office) right now or it should be after when she complete total 1095 days in Canada? Is PCC good for 90/180days like normal PCC in canada?
Any help how to get PCC via BLS Calgary office?Any suggestions?
Thanks

Refer to the note after the table in section 10.b of Application for Canadian Citizenship — Adults [Form CIT 0002]. It clearly says what you are asking for. I am pasting excerpt below for you to review:

The police certificate must either have been issued:
  • After the last time you were in that country or territory; or
  • No more than 6 months before the date you sign your citizenship application.

Any help how to get PCC via BLS Calgary office?Any suggestions?

No idea, what BLS is. I'll pass this to someone who is familiar with this or suggest you to google.

& just found under 10B (FEB 2019 Updated form)
Note: If you were in your country of origin immediately prior to becoming a permanent resident and landing in Canada and this time falls within this four year period, you are not required to provide a police certificate. Please indicate this in the explanation box.

It means She don't need to submit PCC! (1095 days/3 years in Canada and prior 1 year in back home.)

Good for you. It is always helpful to read guide and related forms/checklist, this solves 90% of issues, which are generic.

I’m in the same boat (PEI-processed in Nova Scotia). Started processing in Feb....fingerprint request early March (had taken & sent the same day) & haven’t heard anything additional.

I wrote my test on July 4th,Scarborough processing centre.
Decision made was July 5th. I am a single applicant. What I have been seeing Scarborough applicants have got oath dates on the same day, or next day of test, or at least in a week. Not sure when will I get mine. I was hoping since mine is Scarborough will be faster. But no luck yet! :(
