i called an agent two days ago..she said background check is on going..howev .i got no updates in my profile..she said she can send a message on my VO (ottawa) some of the members got a mail from the VO after the reminder..if i receive a mail is that considered a good sign??

Hey, Did you call them or mail?
Mine AOR- 22nd oct. Eligibility met but nothing else started. Agent told me yesterday that they can’t mail to an officer.
My AOR is Nov 04. Someone in the October thread got it. You can ask him/her.
As for me, I have stopped calling them as it takes at least half an hour to get connected if one is lucky. I have raised a webform several times and have generic replies after 7-10 days.

i called CIC 2 days ago..agent said she can sent a message to my VO(ottawa) and i got this mail from ottawa today

Hi guys..just a curious question that I want to ask.Some may find it silly but a friend is considering to fill the application and wants to know what if during the process someone gets pregnant?and receives PR ..will they have to go through medicals again and will this delay their landing?
