Pls I need help with this question
I’m resigning from my office this month. Should I get work reference that says “adebayo is an employee of ... or Adebayo was an employee of..) so that if I get ITA later on I won’t have any issues.

When exactly are u expecting your ITA? If it's this month I will suggest you use is an employee of,if not this month it will be ideal to use was

Hi,

My WES report is expiring in the month of December 2019. I had ordered an extra copy from WES. They have given me an extra copy dated 26th June 2019. My question is -

1. What will be the validity of my WES report ?

2. I am MBA and as per my revised report Canadian equivalency is Master Degree(Just like old report), they changed only date. What will be my equivalency? ( because at the moment WES is not granting masters to MBAs)

Thank You.
Can anybody please help on this ? Please.

Kenneth89 is right. Consider when you'll get your ITA.
Also important, consider the date on your reference. If the date on your reference precedes your resignation, then you have 'is an employee'. If the date is after your resignation, then 'was' would be appropriate. Any one you choose to go with, remember you have to disclose any change in your status even post ITA.

Hi Guys, Adding to this, I'm kinda on the same boat. But I'll be leaving next week. I don't expect to get an ITA at least in the next 4 months. Can i ask my employer right now? Or do I have to wait till I leave the organization for LOR? Thanks!

Found something that may clarify your concerns....

A valid job offer has to be:

  • made by one employer
  • continuous
  • paid
  • full-time (at least 30 hours a week)
  • for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa
    • not seasonal
  • in a job that is NOC:
    • Skill Type 0 or
    • Skill Levels A or B
It also must be made :
  • by an employer with a new positive LMIA that approves the offer and names you and your position OR
  • if you’re currently working in Canada in a NOC 0, A or B job on a work permit that was issued based on an LMIA, and:
    • you’re working for an employer listed on your work permit
    • you’re authorized to work in Canada on the day you apply for a permanent resident visa, and when the visa is issued
    • your current employer made you an offer to give you a full-time job for at least one year if you’re accepted as a permanent resident
    • Your employer must get a new LMIA only if:
      • your work permit has expired
Great.. This is gonna help me immensely. Thanks a ton!
Apologies for the delayed reply, I am not a regular here..

PLS WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO DO MEDICAL IF YOUR WIFE IS PREGNANT?
Yes you will do medicals at any stage of pregnancy BUT no x-ray! And this will be noted on the report. There should be no problem except and of course the blood test triggers a need for further investigation that requires a chest x-ray.
