Hi All,
My CRS Score is 425 and looking the Express entry draw trends in the last 8 to 10 months, its safe to assume it will take ages for the scores to drop down to this level.

I am guessing my only choice is to look at PNP's
I have a total of 9 years banking experience with roles and responsibilities matching with NOC codes 0122 and 6235.

Initial 4 years work exp was with NOC code 0122 and the last 5 years has been with NOC Code 6235. Both my jobs have been with global banks located in 2 different countries.

I have been talking to various consultants and agents , everyone says Banking sales jobs are in demand in canada right now or at least are listed in a few provinces however none of them tell me clearly as to which pathway are they going to follow so that I can start preparing documents accordingly.

I looked in many forums online and spent a few days looking at PNP programs.
SINP - Banking is not listed in the "IN DEMAND" list however I am not sure if SINP express entry is an option to go ahead to try the EOI as I am eligible to claim 67 out of 100,thus within a month or 2 I should be shortlisted.
Manitoba MINP- Banking is listed however I am given to understand if i do not have a friend or relative in MANITOBA, I do not stand a chance to get the EOI.

Ofcourse I have also heard that Ontario and Alberta do send NOI for my CRS score, however this is a passive process and It could take months or may be more than year and its not worth the wait just for an NOI, post which the entire PNP and Express entry might take another 1 year.

Open to suggestions if I am missing on something and request you all to let me know if there is a PNP program for which I am eligible?

As a banker you can choose various NOC for example sales, credit, accounts for bank, customer service, remittance, fin. & inv. analyst, banking clerk, other financial officer etc. Primarily Immi office verify you through online if they satisfied about your organization I think they don't further verification about your job. So I suggested you should apply through PNP if any banking related NOC exist in their demand list.

Thanks dewmizan,

Unfortunately in the demand list for my noc is in Nova Scotia ,Manitoba and prince edward island.

Nova Scotia category B is not open since a long time
Manitoba I don't have a relative or a friend.
PEI I am not sure if it's a good decision to apply in that province where we might not eventually live for 2 years

Is there any other way out??

Hi Mona 247, Actually if you want to immigrate, your first priority should be enter into Canada through PR then you should consider where you will live & work. As a PR holder you have the right to stay & work any where in Canada as per Canadian citizen charter though you have to give an undertaken to particular provincial Govt. to stay certain time.

Hi Everyone.

I am also from banking industry and its being 4 years i am designated as Operations manager of a branch.

I request input from all wether i am thinking right or not in respect of NOC 1241 Administrative Assistant.

At IRCC website, they have mentioned 11 job responsibilities under NOC 1241 and among those 9 are administrative work that can be found in any work environment. What i think, since i am running all operations of the bank branch, i can also opt this.

But the problem is, my bank will not issue letter mentioning roles and responsibilities. A letter from colleague can be taken confirming these responsibilities.

My CRS is 377 including my spouse too. As of only PEI is the only province where we can apply without any of these prerequisites. Anyway Nova Scotia has good prospects but I'm not able to reach their minimal cutoff since my IELTS is 7.5 so I'm gonna give a second try to Ielts.
