Thank you but my question was when an applicant is requested for remedicals, what would his/her status likely be. Because in my case my Aor is 27th of July 2018 and as per the status on my CIC portal it states your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check?
The application status gives a direction on what stage your application might be.

When the Status shows " We will send you a message when we start your background check? , it means most likely your background check has not begun or "IP1". That is what I meant in my previous reply.

Normally when an officer is looking at file, some proactive officer might notice even before your background check has begun/in progress that you will need a remedical soon. Others after completing the background check will check for medical validity.

When Background check has begun or even completed the status on cic website shows "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

So to answer your question the status may most likely be "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

but don't depend on it.

Hi is it safe to assume that a person whose background check has begun has cleared eligibility?

Hi guys,

I am a bit worried. My GCMS notes show a decrease in CSR score. Apparently, it is because of my responsibilities or work documents not being enough.

As per my list of currently submitted documents for job responsibilities and duties included
1. Statutory Declaration of Responsibilities - Self
2. Letter explaining the reason for self-declaration
3. Copy of the original conversation with Company HR and Manager for the responsibilities on letterhead and the list of the same duties on email.
4. Appointment Letter
5. Confirmation Letter
6. Salary Slips for - May and April 2018
7. Salary Account details from the date it was started until the AOR date.
8. Tax payment receipt

Below are the links to the GCSM notes screenshot and my current status on the different steps. Please can someone help me with is this reduction heading to possible rejection. Please, it's freaking me out. And what other documents can I pro-actively submit to make my job background stronger?

2. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yiFeNptPh7hwAS27NVONODDCYGWsGZOQ/view?usp=sharing

Current Application Status
1. As per June 2019 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-5x8hSPk3-AszO4R5gMk6SQN2sGi8vab/view?usp=sharing
2. As per October 2018 : https://drive.google.com/file/d/15t0EjfIVFoH0YFIlbPpYNIOT-4rmGxrF/view?usp=sharing

In addition to the above, to give you all some more information, I was recently asked to do my re-meds again and upon checking the comments, the ones under "Additional Documents" changed to "Not Applicable". The one under Background check too was updated.

Thank you in advance.

Tanmayee

Since you haven't provided job reference letter the way IRCC expects it the analyst looking at your profile has put in review required. Anything which is not as per IRCC guidelines needs to be approved by the visa officers and analyst has to mark it for officer's review.

Based on what you have described above it seems like you have provided all the documents that was possible for in your situation. Now, you need to wait how the officer makes his assessment.

Okay. But then I have provided them an letter explaining the entire situation won't that make them consider it? And does it point to possible rejection?

Also, I just checked my notes. And they have stated they are going to relook at the details on 1st March 2019. So I don't know if there has been any developments on it.

Analyst can't consider it. Any divergence from prescribed documents will be flagged as "Review Required".

Depends on the officer who will make the final review on the application. However, there are many examples similar to yours where files were approved. Officers will look at evidence and then take a call whether to ask for more evidence or approve the file.

That date is auto-generated by system and means nothing.

AOR Received.

Hello @Kitcat247 My file moved to Pretoria end Nov 18. When requesting the notes in Jan 19, I noticed that only within that week it was looked at and I received a request to provide a document concerning my kids (everything else was fine but the review was recommended for that specific doc), which was sent the same day. I send a CSE in March to ask if I can pay for the PR fees, they replied on email that it's is fine. In April I checked my CIC account by chance and notice a "updated" application that immediately returned to "submitted". and my BG was saying "In progress" turned to "N/A". I assumed something had happened and hoped to hear from them in May or so but... In May (within the week I requested new notes) I received a message saying "application on queue awaiting review from officer". God know how terrible those replies feel like...

Will probably receive new notes end of June and hopefully have an idea where things are... It's harder when you have children involved. Praying that we make it there before the academic year starts in Sept. Medicals expiry en July....
Good luck and please share when you hear something - hopefully it will be soon! We were also hoping to get there before the academic years started, but that date just seems to be stretching further and further away.

I received my PPR at 3.53AM Irish time this morning, some 330 days after AOR.
I'd like to sincerely thank the many wonderful people on this thread who have offered advice and support these many months. A special call out @tobs for aiding so many of us in this community.
Some very decent people are still waiting, @djangoboy, @yaun10 and @Archavin89 to only name a few. I don't think that is remotely fair. I can't help directly but I do plan to stick around and offer moral support.

Here is my timeline

FSW Outland - Ireland
ITA: May 23rd, 2018
Medical Exam taken: July 25th, 2018
AOR: July 26th, 2018
MEP: August 19th, 2018
IP1: August 19th, 2018

Additional Documents including bank statements and tax returns submitted proactively December 10th, 2018
These same additional Documents attached to file on January 8th 2019 (Not reviewed by an officer at that time)
Passed Eligibility on May 29th 2019 after 8 months in line for review by an officer.
Passed Security and Criminality on the same day, May 29th 2019
Officer requested the medical unit to review my case on May 29th 2019 to determine whether to extend my medical or if a re-medical was necessary.
The medical unit extends medical for 12 months on June 19th, 2019
PPR email received on June 21st, 2019
