hello there me and my girl friend are living for 15 months together in same house and she recieved her pr last week only she haven’t declared ke as common law because her pnp ferderal file was under Noc D and also I applied my own pnp but got rejected but she done everything smoothly landing process. Actually we are getting married after two months? Is there any problem because she haven’t declared me as common law ? Also we didn’t have any proof to prove common law

It should not be a problem in getting married and then applying for spouse PR using her points :)

So she landed as single correct? Already received her PR as a single individual, when in reality she was living common law with you ?

She landed single recieved pr yes we lived together but all are bank accounts were different, all taxes paid different only problem was i was trying my own to apply for pr that’s why

She committed misrepresentation in her application, which is a serious offence . It will come back to cause problems down the road.

I talked to 2 immigration lawyers amd they said it’s fine you put date when you guys are getting married and it will be fine but if she puts me a s common law we didn’t have any proof that time

I highly doubt immigration LAWYERS would encourage you to lie on an application. Misrepresentation was committed whether or not you have proof. She KNOWINGLY landed as single yes is actually im a common law relationship

How can they come to know we were living together? How about we put everything from when we are getting married?

Becaus youd be LYING... its quite simple. If you actually read the application youll have to fill out prior addresses WITH dates and such...

So let's just continue the misrepresentation. You are applying for authorization to live in Canada, it's not a library card. Be truthful, otherwise be prepared for the consequences
Note; find new immigration lawyers
