How many days did it take for you to get this email??
Hi,
After submitting the passports, when you get a receipt, email is generated immediately for each of the passports submitted with the tracking id. And for every movement there is an email and sms sent from VFS with the same tracking id.

Congratulations. At least some update......
I know of an Applicant they were also asked for re-medicals..... And then within the a week of submission they got ppr.
Happy for u
Good luck :)
Thank you dear.

I too know a few cases where ppr came in with a week to within 30days!
Even If it takes 1 month, it should be by July 4th. I am ready for it.

Still better than what the agent had told me: "wait till July end"

Hi everyone,

So today morning I had made a post (first time) regarding a ghost update on your account but getting an email for electronic GCMS notes and wasn’t sure if they were linked. Anyways I doubt they are as the ghost update was for my PPR. I got my PPR email probably today as well (guess 9 hours after the GCMS note email)

To be honest, I am not sure when I got that ghost update because the last time I logged into my CIC account was last Friday (I think, or maybe Thursday) but I believe that ghost update must have been today.

Anyways, I wanted to start with the usual ‘Hi everyone, silent reader here and got my golden email and blah blah’ ( you know the usual you read and then roll your eyes, then smile, then read the story, then be like awww, then be happy for the person and then wish yours will come too; just like you are probably doing right now)

The thing is IT WILL COME. You just have to keep with the faith (that includes you sittlord) and worry less. Probably check you account once a week or every three days. The less you worry, the happier you’d be.

I am certain everyone in November should get theirs this week (the faith). Here’s my timeline if this helps anyone

CEC - Reside in Canada on PGWP
AOR - Nov 26
MEP - Jan 15
IP1 or IP2 - I have no clue because I didn’t really check my account for months. I think I always had ‘we are reviewing your eligibility’ and ‘we are processing your background check’ since I can remember tbh and that was probably far back in March when I logged in the first time after my MEP and after that I didn’t log in till end of April and then every week as I was getting close to the 6 months.
Ghost Update - June 3
PPR - June 3

Now if anyone has an answer to this that would be great. How long does it take to get your passport back if you send it to Ottawa. Travelling June 25 and not sure if I should send my passport or raise a web form explaining why I can’t send it yet.

Thanks everyone and Sittlord you are awesome. Including immigration guru. I hope and pray you all my November folks get theirs soon.
Congrats!!

Hello guys!

Finally some good news for me. A new ray of hope. 187th day!

Details:
AOR: 28th Nov
MEP: 8th/9th Jan
ADR: 9th Jan (Rep. form)
No update since then.
Re-medical request: 4th June (8.30am IST)
Ip2: 4th June. (checked application and email at 7am, and there was no update, background check did not start). I guess along with re-medical background check also got updated at 8.30am IST.

Finally some movement after Jan 1st week :)
I had called on 28th May (180th day) and was told file untouched, nothing has started except medical.

Well, my husband had applied for his students visa back in July last year and hence his medical was dated back in July. He is persuing his MBA from Schulich School Of Business, York University.
This was my only hope that they will be bound to touch the file to get his re-medical done and in the process will process our application.
That is exactly what has happened.
His medical tests are due tomorrow.
Past cases what I had seen, post re medical PPR came in a week or within a month.
I hope that is what happens with us and file again not kept aside.

Also this cleared another doubt.
Even if you have entered Canada while waiting for PPR and your medical expires. You will have to get your medical done again.

I shall keep everyone posted about what happens next.
Where is @SithLord ???

Awaiting his expert comments!! :p:p

Also others like ImmGuru (sorry if the name is wrong), @pizzaboy99 and others whose name I am sorry but I can't recollect :(

Got my PPR today. Status was "Application Updated" in the morning and I got the mail at around 0730 IST. I am not quite certain about the terms used in this forum (IP1, IP2 etc..) but I have tried to provide some information about my application with whatever knowledge I have.

MEP/IP1 Not sure
ADR May 14 (IMM 5669), Submitted May 20
IP2 May 24

I discovered this forum only couple of months ago and am amazed by the community. Thanks much for all the information and positivity.

I received my COPR today at the landing appointment at Etobicoke CIC office. Thank God.
It is funny because in the portal it is still showing that my application will take longer than expected. Calling CIC helpline helped a lot. CIC Portal is useless.
AOR - 9 NOV 2018
Medical passed - after one month
PR Application approved - 2 May 2019
NO PPR or Ready for Visa email.
Landing Interview scheduled - 3 June 2019 - Got COPR and filled the form for a PR card.
Congrats

As per June, July and August threads, re-medical is a strong indication that PPR is coming. Most of them received it within a week after re-medicals
