Yes ,considering the fact that they are so careless about our applications..and this process isn’t fair where few applicants of some dates are receiving pprs but others of the same date aren’t..moreover there are no updates at all for some..truely disgusting :p
But I can’t withdraw as my background check is in progress
Immigration isn’t a first come first served kind of thing. They want you in Canada but need to make sure that you’re the right person they are letting in. Look at it positively and enjoy the journey. If you panic on these tentative deadlines you will have a tough time surviving there.

Yes I do understand that..but there needs to be a way in doing things..if our timelines have crossed the 6 month bar then we should atleast know the reason: whether we get an ADR or an update or something ..only this thing irritates me

Totally agree with you. I don’t see the issue in the fairness of the system. In my opinion it’s just that it needs to be more organized.
The status we get to know after 40 mins of waiting and sweet talking an agent into revealing details, only if those assessments could be included in our CIC portal life would have been much easier.

We have all worked very hard to reach here. All we need is to look up to our new phase of life instead of getting drained out with anxiety by the time we land in Canada.

We are in the same boat . I had called yesterday and the guy said nothing has started.

I am planning to order notes on 1st June.
Is your application at Ottawa?
same status!!
Reached an agent after trying more than 30 times.;)
Same old broken record, nothing has started. will take time. hopefully long wait ahead, be prepared.
Docs seems fine.
Ordered notes on 29th April.
No update since mep and rep. form back in Jan 1st week..

This is so exhausting......:oops::oops::oops::oops:

The Canadian EE system is fair as they invite only the deserving candidates. However, the processing system is very poor and unorganised.

They're grossly understaffed and are probably taking in more applications than they can process and hence the backlogs.

After a point, they will just have to make a decision. It doesn't have to be positive but people just want to know whether they have been accepted or refused so they can move on to the next phase of their lives and plan for the future.

Everyone have invested their valuable time and made sacrifices to get to this position. So atleast they can give some update as to where they currently stand rather them making them wait in a never ending queue while they approve newer applicants. This is the most frustrating part of this system.

I don't think anybody minds here about the waiting because Canadian PR is a privilege so we can wait even if it takes a year but that doesn't mean they leave us in the dark for months without updates.

It really makes you wonder if your application is really complex or they're just lacking the resources and competency to handle your case.

Quick question - After you submit ADR, the status says changes "reviewing the additional documents provided to NA", is that right?
We had an ADR back in Dec, asking to submit Use of Representative, although we chose "No" for Rep in the PR application.
We still went ahead and submitted the form stating cancellation of rep.
Just realized, that many say their ADR status changed to NA after submitting the relevant docs, ours says Reviewing since Dec.
They didnt even touch our application after they sent ADR request, did they?
Hello,
We got the same ADR. We have a rep so we submitted it again due to ADR. It was in Jan 1st week along with MEP.
We still have the status " We are reviewing the additional documents you provided ". Did not change to NA.
Technically NA means the doc has been reviewed and accepted, and if no change it has not been touched yet.
The agent we spoke to yesterday said nothing has started for us.
However I saw a few cases where there was no update and directly PPR mail arrived.
I am expecting it to be the same for us.
