Hi I am a Canadaian. My mom has been to Canada twice. And throughout her stays I extended her stays and it was all aproved. She just went back to Nigeria and applied for a new Visa and she was refused. They stated that her Visa refusal was base on her history of having contravened conditions of admission on her previous stay in Canada. Please what do we do . Myvw wedding is coming up in August 17th and I need my mom . Thanks

Provide more details, such as the refusal letter.

Are you confident she never contravened conditions of admission? Was she requested to take a medical exam and then didn't?

Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your temporary resident visa application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your history of having contravened the conditions of admission on a previous stay in Canada.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Is there any detail you've omitted in the + + + section that provides additional info? Or is it just purely personal information?

Normally they would say something like "Specifically, in 200#, you did X while your conditions said Y."

When you say you extended her stay - did you apply for those extensions before or after she exceeded the period of stay (six months by default)?

And specifically, did any of the visitor records issued after the extensions say that they were issued subject to a condition of a medical examination, and did she take the medical exam?

I extended before and they never asked her for medicals
Well, if you're absolutely certain that she never contravened any conditions, you can reapply. Write a letter stating that your mother never contravened any conditions.

If you're correct, and the officer made an error, you will probably get the visa. If not, they will tell you that and you will get denied.

Thanks so much. My husband just informed me now that he applied for the gcms note . If we wait for 2 weeks and dont hear from them. We shall reapply and let them know that my mom never contravened any condition that all her extensions was approved. I will attached the extension docs again for them

One more question my dear. The application was paper one but I think I'm gonna do the online for reapply to make it faster. What do you think
It's supposed to make no difference, but I prefer the online route since there's less possibility for typos and other errors.
