I am overstay in 2013 on schengen visa, I have 7 days visa but I stay approx 65 days, Now I want to apply visitor visa for Canada

My question is above overstay can affect on my visitor visa application

My son Have study visa and he inviting me & my wife for convocation June 2019 pl reply

Yes there is a chance that it could have an impact on this visa. If you didn't follow all the rules previously they might think you will not follow Canada's rules regarding a visitor visa.

It is not a good idea to lie, as mentioned if caught lying they could ban you for 5 years for misrepresentation.

Just out of curiosity when you were only given 7 days how come you stayed longer?

No, if you had been given a visa in past, your UCI number remains same always, if you have one.
