guys can anyone help me understand this email i received from CIC right now

This refers to your application for permanent residence in the provincial nominee class. The information you have provided is insufficient for a visa officer to be satisfied that you meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.
The provincial nominee class is described in Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) as a class of persons who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada and who intend to reside in the province that has nominated them. Notwithstanding the nomination of an applicant by a province or territory, the federal government has the final authority to select immigrants in the provincial nominee class.
Please read this letter carefully and provide only what is being requested; if you provide incorrect or incomplete information, it may result in your application being refused. You may already have provided similar information as part of your nomination process, but please provide the following ( X ) to assist the federal government with its assessment of your eligibility under Subsection 87 of the IRPR:
1. ( X ) Please note that your case is almost complete, however we note that your medical expires in July, which will limit the visa validity. Please let us know if you would like us to go ahead and finalise, or if you would instead prefer to submit a new medical.
Please submit all of the requested information at the same time, as your file will not be reviewed until submissions are complete. If you do not submit the requested information within 4 days of the date of this letter, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information already provided. This could lead to your application being refused.
Please include a copy of this letter with any information you send.

The tone looks serious, however, the message is basically saying whether you would like to receive a visa with limited validity since your medical is about to expire. Or submit a new medical and receive a lengthy visa validity

Thanks for the advice snowball2018

I have been thinking of updating my employment letter for the last while...if I send a new updated letter now will they not see it as me trying to manipulate my duties to fit the official description?

And by updating I was thinking of expanding into more detail on the duties that I have already mentioned in the letter (not changing them at all just expanding and explaining in more detail)

Do you think that will help? Could it harm my application? Will it speed up or delay my application?

Much appreciated
Hi Enorm19,

Include an LOE with your new employment reference letter which details all the duties and responsibilities of you as a financial manager.

In your LOE, you could explain why you are updating this new reference letter and please be sure to share with CIC honestly. Since you need your manager/HR's signature/confirmation, I think the letter could be viewed to be objective and true by CIC.

Honestly I do not know if this works because there is a high chance CIC will question why the first employment letter is like that, but at least you could try for your own good and see where it takes.

May I know your AOR and why did you submit the 1st one like that?

Hello - I've just received my PPR from the New Delhi VO. My AOR was 08th of August. I had a 'Not Met - for Refusal' on my eligibility and a review required on the Bahrain PCC of my spouse (found out via GCMS in the second week of March). The eligibility was marked not met since I hadn't sent them a reference letter with my duties listed out (I'd only sent them the pay stubs and the offer letter). Uploaded the missing letter on the 15th of March. The Review of Additional Documents changed to 'Documents are being Reviewed' from 'Your Documents have been uploaded' on the 01st of April. Further changed to 'Not Applicable' on the 08th of April. Nothing else till the PPR email this afternoon.

We didn't do anything for the Bahraini PCC RR since everything seemed to be in order and we couldn't figure out what could be wrong from the GCMS notes.

Hope this helps.
@AparnaKrishna I am more or less in the same situation as you are. My AOR is 27 August and I came to know from GCMS notes (got it in first week of May) that my eligibility has been put "Not Met" as I too did not send the experience letter for my current job. You mentioned that you uploaded the missing document. May I know if you received an ADR from CIC or did you that as a proactive measure ? Also, after uploading the document did you receive an email stating "we received your document" or did your status in the CIC website got updated from "No additional docs required" to "Documents received" ?

I am positive that your application will not be rejected and you will be given an opportunity for ADR. You did the right thing by submitting the letter proactively. Just hang in there, as RR cases are already started getting approval from this month onwards for June, July and even Aug AOR. My guess is August AORs it would be clear by May’19 end.
Thanks @Slick007 ....Hopefully we will be out of this misery soon !!

Hi Enorm19,

My AOR is Aug 07, 2018...Biometrics: passed, Medical: passed, Criminality: passed, Info Sharing: complete, Security: not started (as per my recent GCMS notes...my first set also said not started)...RPRF fees paid

As per my first set (received 18/11/2018) and second set (received 11/04/2019) of GCMS notes: the Visa officer has put "review required: applicant has failed to prove more than 1 year work experience" in the VO notes section because I (stupidly) did not check if my employment start date was on the letter (it was not )...I sent the updated Employment Letter (with my start date on this time) on 19/11/2018 without them asking for it

To answer your question about why I sent it like that in the first place: maybe lack of experience on my side / maybe I did not do enough research as to how it should have been done / maybe I was rushing it to get the process started as soon as possible

At least I am improving my patience levels :)
