No need to worry, it’s actually a good sign that they’re asking for further details/evidences because that would mean that they’re really looking into your application. Agree on the post below that you may want to vividly explain each photo or have an addtl description to support your case. Best of luck! :)
I will definitely do that. Thanks for the advice. Goodluck to us :)

Hi everyone. Just wondering if it makes any difference for an application if it is initially transferred to cpc-Mississauga then later forwarded to local Visa Office (Manila). fro further processing? I do not know what to expect since some members are getting requests for additional docs since their file was transferred. Pls advise. Thanks. :)

Hi, also coming from manila office.

This would mean that they will be doing further checks/validation. Usually when transferred, progress will be slower than what’s in cpcm. :(

I’m an october applicant and still waiting for DM/PPR (we’re already in 1.5 month wait based from our last update).

It may take few more months cause based on manila spousal fb group, people who got PPR recently are all May applicants...

Still keeping the hope it will progress better in the next few weeks. :) best of luck!

Thanks. I do not mind waiting for few more months as long as its within the 12 month timeframe.

I know 2 applicants who had their completed application in just 4 and 6 months. Hope we get to hear good news soon, nothing is impossible after all right?

Finally i got IRCC email to submit documents related to my birth certificate which i will try to submit sooner.. they are asking for voter id.. which i applied in December
I got It as PDF with EPIC number but not sure when they will send me the original document .. any suggestion?
Strange part it it has written in bold on PDF IRCC letter "FINAL REQUEST"
what does that mean?
Hey I got the same request too. Did you send in your original school records and voter I.D. or a scan copy through email/web forum?

No, you dont have to send the original as you will never get that back. The only thing original that they ask for is Police Clearance Report.
Thanks for the reply. I got a "final request" email from asking for original school records and voter I.D. ..it asks this:

Birth registration/certificate: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as: o Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and o Voter's ID card

These documents are pretty critical so I'm wary of sending the originals but they are asking for them...it says I could send them through 3 options (post, web forum, email) what do you think?

@LeticiaKay @vic1028 @melylags I'm waiting too. Paid the biometric fees upfront and my file was transferred on the 19th of March too. I had my medical exam April 1 and found out I passed on the IRCC automated system April 10. I hope we all get the request soon. When I had called last week asking if I had the request sent to at the time my representative but the IRCC rep told me no and also said the 12 month spiel so who knows.

It is little confusing. They are asking for original but also saying that you can submit via web forum or email. I will recommend you to call them and confirm this. I would not want to send my original documents unless really needed and I also have to make sure they will send them back.

my spouse gave her medical exam on April 3rd 2019, but still it is not passed in mycic account. do i need to worry or do i need to submit anything online

hi, i was in your same situation. it took about 20 days for it to show up on CIC as passed. hang in there. you could always resend the eMedical profile page you get from the doctor when the exam is done.

They actually changed the checklist in March. It now says: "Proof of Contact: Provide letters, printed text messages, emails or social media conversations, or other documented proof of contact between you and your sponsor. Provide a maximum of 10 pages with your application. You must provide certified translations in either English or French of all proof of contact documents that are not already in English or French."

I believe @jb9419 resubmitted their application in April, which is why they are worried about it now.

Yeah I feel like if I was to call IRCC it’ll just be a waste of time as they will just tell me what I already know and that’s that it’s in the 12 month time frame. I’m sure I’ll get that file transfer soon.

My husband (PA) completed biometric last Friday and today we got an automatic generated email. Don’t know what this means!!!!!

VFS Global
The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at BangaloreOC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center BangaloreOC. Please note that this is an automated email. Please DO NOT reply to this email.

Regards,
VFS Global

They requested us for additional documents and deadline to submit those is May 11. We were going to send it today.
