No there are other parts that need to be completed - background check, criminality, info sharing etc. If all these are done, then you can expect good news soon.

There is a difference between using key words and copying and pasting entire sentences/admitting to using the NOC roles & responsibilities as a basis for writing the reference letter. AFAIK, you did neither of the latter and wrote a reference letter that, AFAIK IRCC is concerned, is written in your own words.
But I think there is not much to worry as once they see the reference letter is in the desired format, they will ignore everything else. Just in general, don't write LOEs that say NOC pages were used as a basis for writing the reference letter.
The original poster wrote in his LOE that his manager used the NOC page as a guideline for writing the reference letter. AFAIK, you didn't attach any such LOE mentioning your HR used the NOC page as a guideline so the cases are not exactly equivalent.You are right!! My HR also listed down the roles & responsibilities from the CIC website for my noc. He didn't write it word for word but mentioned my actual roles in the company by matching it with specific keywords from the website.
He also provided all the required details as asked by the website on the letter head. As per my GCMS notes, my experience letter looks good and didn't find anything wrong yet
I've got a same answer when I called and asked why is my Criminality showing in progress for more than 5 months now. The agents said the same, sometimes they work in a background and is just not updated, and sometimes it's just needs an agent to pick it up and give a final say.Those who have ordered GCMS notes, check Correspondence section. There will be two sub sections "Outgoing" and "Incoming", pay attention to incoming. Each document/information you sent to IRCC will have a separate incoming correspondence.
During the initial(R10) checks these documents are verified by the program assistant. Now towards the end of each document there will be something called "Review Status". The PA based on his assessments will mark the field as either "Checked" or "Review Required". Some may have that field as blank.
Now based on the information I have gathered, Checked means it is recommended pass by the PA and Review Required obviously means the Case Analyst will have to review the document.
In my notes, medicals, Indian PCC, UK PCC, Degrees/diplomas are marked Checked. Client Information as Review Required. Proof of funds and work experience is left blank.
I have passed medicals hence it is marked as checked. The updated date is same as the date I passed medicals.
Now my theory is that I have passed criminality too, however, Program assistant cannot pass criminality. He can only recommend it passed. It will be officially passed by a case analyst. Since my file has not been picked up yet by a case analyst it is still marked as not started.
Client Information here is Letter of Explanation. I mentioned about gift deed in my LOE, hence it's marked as Review Required. Also makes sense, why that field is left blank.
Eventually when the case analyst picks up your file, he will read the notes of the PA and will recommend pass. 90% of the time, the case analyst agrees with the PA.
I have checked with others who have passed criminality and their PCC in incoming correspondence is marked as checked.
So for those who are still waiting for eligibility, criminality and security checks to start. These checks may have already started but are not officially updated
Hope others who are more knowledgeable on this can provide their inputs
Agents don't have any insight into the security process (as its done by a 3rd party) so there is no use calling them and asking for updates on that front. One day out of the blue, IRCC will get the report from the 3rd party and then your PR will be approved. Sit tight and be hopeful for May 2nd deadline!
No! Met and recommended passed are the same and a visa officer must check to pass it finally
Agents only read the first page of GCMS notes, which have fields that indicate the status of Eligiblity, Security, Criminality, Info Sharing etc. But these fields are manually updated and sometimes there will be notes on these sections but the field won't be updated. Best is to look at the notes section of GCMS notes, that will give you an 100% accurate view on what exactly is going on with your file.
@SithLord wasn't June 11 the same date you've been given before?
I never got an answer like that when I called, but knowing that eligibility was done should give you some peace of mind. The rest is just a matter of time and once the agent picks up your file it can be done in less then a week ( if no SS).
I think at this point patience is the key. I would still call them after May 2nd and before June 11 or raise CSE to remind them of my file
I agree with you, but I'm not 100% sure what exactly they check under Criminality.
On my notes from Feb I have RCMP - nrt, Infoshare- nrt, and in R10 Criminality reccomend pass. Is there more steps in this part, or I can assume it was done but not updated...?

I agree with you @pizzaboy99 i didnt actually day he used the noc guidelines i said he used the guidelines of the IRCC for an experience letter. As my manager didnt just write the roles and duties, he has written the whole thing. Title, no. Of hours, his designation, department, employment date start and end. Etc.

You're more luckier than me since you have met eligibility but no checks have started for me lol
If I were you, I would be much more happier knowing eligibility has been met since that's the biggest hurdle. I understand the extra waiting kills but knowing that your application is 90% approved is much more satisfying than staying in the dark with 0% progress.
Yes, the original poster explained the same to me but my reply was for Cupid. I really don't understand why an explanation is required for using the website as a guideline in the first place.
