usually there is an email from CIC " You have a new message in your account for application: F000660290" and then we need to login to GCkey to actually be able to see the Pre-Arrival letter

Thanks. The reason I'm asking this is because I haven't been able to link my paper application to my online account. So basically I get no updates on GC keys like the others have. So wondering how would I get my PA if and when it would be issued.

HI,
one reason could be for not been able to link the paper application to GCkey is that "in the section for number of people in the application section, count yourself also a member. For eg, if your spousal sponsorship is for only your wife, write two members in the application instead of 1."

We are July Applicants whose update is " in process at the NDVO" while others who are August applicants have received PA. I really wonder at the lack of a system. Your file was transferred to NDVO much before mine so I'm sure you might hear something way sooner that I will.

Ive tried all the "tricks of the trade" but nothing seems to be working. I have submitted all these details to CIC and they said they'd get back to me so just keeping my fingers crossed that even though the linking doesn't happen at least I am informed by email about this.

I was also not able to link my application and submitted CIC with the screenshot of information entered and they point out the same mistake i was doing which i told you above. So, its worth giving a shot.

I am the PA and not the sponsor. So while filling the details of UCI, to link the application, I should put my UCI details and not the sponsor's one, right?

Yes, you should put your UCI (PA) or its better select the option of File number and other details.

Well I tried what you mentioned and it worked...!!! Weirdly... but thanks a ton. The status provided is very basic to say the least. Its the same information that is given by the automated voice when you call the CIC call center. Very unsatisfying!

Atleast you managed to linked your file to GCkey.
You should be able to see if your BGC is started or not

hopefully... But BCG hasn't started yet for me. You being an August applicant is way ahead of July applicants. No idea as to what exactly is the system in processing the same. Just know that there is 4 more months left so hopefully I'll be seeing some movements happening soon.

My file was transferred to NDVO in Dec. I am not sure, how long I have to wait to eventually get the PPR. I am already tired and just hoping to see my family soon
