If you see DM hopefully soon you will be getting your SA letter. Not sure about why the medical/biometric were not requested but so far the requests are REALLY random there are people asking about this everyday lately. So I guess they will be requesting it sooner or later anytime before PPR lol
Any update for you on medical???

Decision made on sponsorship side means its Sponsorship Approval - SA. Wait for the email.. might take a day or a week.. I got SA after biometrics and medicals.. few applicants got it after MR and before biometrics...

Thank you for explaining that. I thought it could be that but was not sure. I personally hope it's not anytime soon because I have a couple things working against me. I got diagnosed with the flu Monday so I've been home trying to rest and due to my autoimmunue disease my fingers crack and bleed during the winter months sometimes no matter what I put on my hands. I guess I'll see what happens.

I already have AOR with the updates listed on ECAS given up to the point. I have been checking daily multiple times a day. The Decision Made was there this morning about an hour ago. That's why I was wondering what that was for.
I also got 'decision made' on ECAS. We have not received any biometric/medical request yet (other than request to two days ago pay, which we did right away).

Oh okay. Thank you. Maybe it will be a while which might work in my favor. We had submitted the receipt for that because my rep and I saw that they were requesting Americans to submit biometrics at the beginning of the year.

after reading what you said about biometrics, I opened up the biometrics request letter we got and in the last page they gave us a deadline March 28th, 2019. If we don't do it by that day they can refuse our application.

Here's what it says on Page 3:

Important Information

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to present yourself at a biometric collection

service point to give your biometrics:

You must visit a biometric collection service point to have your fingerprints scanned and

photograph taken on or before March 28, 2019.

If you do not comply, your application may
be refused. If your application is refused, you will have to submit a new application and pay the

applicable fees.

If you cannot provide your biometric information (photograph and/or fingerprints) or if you need

more than the 30 days, please contact Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada at

and be prepared to provide a detailed explanation.

If you have injuries or medical conditions:

Some injuries and medical conditions may affect your ability to provide your ten (10) fingerprints or

photograph. If you have a temporary injury or condition on your face and/or hands, you should wait

until the injury heals or condition improves before you give your biometrics. If you have a

permanent injury or medical condition on your face and/or hands, your photograph will still be taken

and you will be asked to provide as many fingerprints as possible.

If you hold multiple citizenship:

You must use the same travel document throughout the application process, including when you

go to a biometric collection service point to

Good to know. Thank you for posting this. My autoimmune condition is permanent but I ordered a box of cotton gloves and another healing lotion that will come Saturday. Hopefully it will help.
