Can you tell me what you asked the agent? Did you just ask him for an update on your application?
I asked about my application status, like if eligibility ,background check or criminality have started or not.She put me on hold for few seconds and later said that only criminality has passed while two other haven't started yet..Do you have any idea how long might take for other two stages?I am planning to call when I reach 110 days

I asked her has my eligibility passed? She said its in process? I said what aboyt Criminality? She said thats passed, your eligibility and security is in process. Everything looks good for now we dont need any additional documents right now and will let you know if we do.
Thank you. Thinking of giving a call after 90 days :)

I always thought eligibility is what they will start first. Background check may take a while, try calling them after 120 days

Hello,

My AOR is Dec 06, 2018. Yesterday I received an email from WES that IRCC was not able to access my evaluation report. As soon as I saw that email I ordered a duplicate report and sent it to IRCC. They will receive in one business day.

1. Does IRCC check this as soon as they receive it? Or put it on hold until my next chance?
2. Does this cause in any delay of the process time? Or cause any rejection?
3. I’m a CEC applicant, I did my masters in Canada and evaluation report was for my bachelors back from home. As the highest degree is from Canada will they consider masters degree and move on with my file?
4. What can I do to speed up the process and let them know that they received the ECA report?

There is no change in my application since my AOR date, not even my medicals.

Has anyone encountered this before?

I’m really worried and not able to hold it together. Please. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I had raised a webform query to know about my Visa office and application status and I got the following reply:

"The initial assessment to ensure your application is complete has been finalized. Following this assessment, your application was transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario (CPC-O). The office will contact you if they need other documents from you.

The background verifications are currently valid for criminality and have not been initiated for security yet. The medical examination results on file are valid for you and your spouse."
Where is this webform available to raise the query?

so, out of curiosity i too called CIC. I was put to a machine and it was all very quick, like the whole thing ended in 5 minutes. I am probably not doing it right. The machine said that my background check has not been started and my eligibility is being reviewed. I wonder if it was just reading from my online CIC account?

How does one get through to an agent?

Edit: ok, i am supposed to press 0 after the machine stops. the volume of calls is too high, i didn't get through
