If you are claiming points for the work experience, you have to provide a work reference letter for the same with all the requirements as specific by IRCC, which include the number of hours worked, employer contact details etc.

However, if upon removing this work experience, your CRS and MEC is not affected, you can remove this work experience and only keep it in personal history.

If your CRS and MEC is not affected, there is no need for LoE.

Alternatively, if you do require this work experience to meet the CRS and MEC, you can then ask any of your ex colleague, or supervisor to write a reference letter for you, which you and get notarized, and upload with the work reference letter you already have. Make sure that you explain in LOE why your work ref letter issued from the employer does not have the requisite information. You will also need further supporting documents like IT returns, offer letter etc. to substantiate your claim.

Hi @legalfalcon

Thank you so much for your reply sir. I have around 12 years of total experience, then I think I can keep this 2 years of work experience in personal history.

Thank you.

Hi @legalfalcon , I applied for renewal of my LMIA exempted WP as inland, along with SOWP and Child's Visitor Record altogether. I just noticed in MYCIC profile, status against mine and child's application has been approved with document detail and received msgs as well...But, SOWP is still under 'eligibility review'....I am afraid, is it normal, as previously all approved altogether, this time SOWP is still not...kindly reply! thanks

Hi @legalfalcon

I had an issue where I was charged in the USA but the charge was dismissed. Therefore, this charge showed up on my FBI report. My criminality was just passed. Do you think that there can be any admissibility issue after security and criminality has been passed? Thus far my medical, eligibility, criminality, and security have passed.

Thanks.

There is nothing known as a salary certificate. Employers by law are obligated to issue a pay slip, which may include any tax withheld. At the end of the year the employee will use these pay slips to file their taxes or returns and may be eligible for an tax refunds. If these were not issued, then you will need proof as discussed previously. There is nothing known as a salary certificate. What you are suggesting is akin to a reference letter or a certificate confirming salary.
Thanks

Hello Legalfalcon,

My profile has been there in the pool for quite sometime. However my score is 405 as of now. Is there any way to increase score and get ITA apart from IELTS 8,7,7,7 score?
My NOC is 0621 so what are the scopes for PNP.

Looking forward to your guidance..

@legal falcon, my aor is of 28th july 2018,now in 6th month i got information by calling cic that my elieligibilty is in review rerequired, so their are two queries regarding this. First thing is whether to wait now for cic reply or i ordered gcms and as per review required, i give information through web form without asking by cic agent. Second query is, how much time they will take to clear eligibilty after review required. What is best option after wewget information of eligibility review required ? Your reply wouldwbe appreciated

I need your help @legalfalcon. I have ITA for express entry but I'm unable to complete the application.
Due to a clerical error by my school registration officer several years ago, my date of birth is 3 months apart from that of one of my nearest sibling. His date of birth is correct but mine is not.
As my very first credential had this wrong DoB, I had continued to use that date on all subsequent official documents including my international passport just so to avoid complications, thereby perpetuating the initial error.
What can I do to avoid misrepresentation? I have thought about the following options: Do I
(1) Leave out only his details from family history and include every one else to avoid the question as to why siblings of the same parents were born only 3 months apart? Or
(2) Leave out the details of all family members altogether so that should any of my siblings also apply for express entry or any other visa to Canada, there will be no contradicting information with IRCC from the information they supply and the one I had earlier provided (since I had provided nothing).
(3) Claim he's my step-brother
(4) Write a letter to IRCC explaining that although I am officially 29 years old as indicated in all my credentials (primary to university) and international passport, that I am actually 30 years old but I can't prove it. That will also reduce my CRS score and make me ineligible.
None of these is sensible enough. That is why I need your help, your legal insight and wisdom. I look forward to reading your suggestions.

Hello legalfalcon

I have a RR marked on my file as belows:

I have submitted the following in original App:

I will be crossing 6 months of processing time in a few days and every GCMS request has absolutely NO PROGRESS on the app after MEP. Every GCMS report is the same as before with the most recent one from mid-December.

I have never raised a CSE hoping this will clear on its own (based on your previous) advise - looks like no officer is touching the file.

I have however generated a fresh set of POF for the PF document for a larger sum that is over and above the requirement along with a letter from PF officer stating that the amount is available to me any time.

Should I just wait for ADR/PFL or should I pro-actively submit the updated set of documents? What should be my course of action now?

Your response is greatly appreciated.
The provident fund is used as a PoF has to have a letter from the institution where your PF account is stating that you can withdraw the funds at anytime and that the funds are unencumbered. If you did provide this, then the officer will review it and change the status of your eligibility.

Also, the 6 months start from the day your R10 is passed, and not from the day you get your AoR.

Thanks for your valuable guidance sir, I have informed cic 8 days back that we are in process of divorce, I have send mail to ottawa vo as guided my ircc customer support team over mail. I have not received any response from cic till now.
My passport submission deadline is near, will cic re-issue a new ppr after removing my spouse or I should submit my passport as I have updated them to remove her from my application..
Finally do I need to wait for them to ask any document or once divorce is filled I should provide the same to Cic by raising cse.

Thanks for your guidance
Until you send the document that the divorce showing that the divorce has been filed, your file will not be processed. So send the proof of filing of divorce via CSE.

Dear @legalfalcon my AOR was 1 Dec 2018 was expecting MEP but got shocked as application cancelled for incompleteness. This was the msg I received :-
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reviewed your application for permanent residence. We have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Your application is rejected for being incomplete.
Specifically, your application does not include the following elements:
- Police Certificate:
o The Police certificate from Australia that you provided with your application is not acceptable. Please consult our website in order to determine the required document. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical- police/police-certificates/how.html
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete.
I thought my husband's 2010 Australia pcc would suffice as he studied there between 2009 to 2010. Moreover the PCC he got was without expiry date,. Without doubt I attached it. But now after searches I got to know that it must fulfill code 35 of Australian National police. Also I attached full license history as he stayed in victoria. I am so disappointed. What are my chances of success if I apply again. My score is 466. Should I wait for ITA or order Australian pcc now? Please guide me . I am totally broken.
As per R10, if the application is incomplete it will be rejected. This is what happened in your case. You can gather all the document again and re-apply. Your application if it meets the program under which you applied, will be processed without issues. However, you will have to make a profile and wait for an ITA.

Hi @legalfalcon .... I am in a very bad situation and would be really grateful if you could help me with your advice. I am a June AOR FSW-Inland applicant from India. My AOR is June 13 and my primary VO is Montreal Immigration. The current overall application status is Eligibility: Recommend Passed, Criminality: In Progress, Security: Not Started. However, I just received the latest GCMS notes and saw the following:

Disposition of your records: Disclosed in part
Section(s) of the Act applied (if applicable): 22(1)(b) law enforcement and investigation

Also, the latest notes of the officer has been redacted and application is in 'On Hold' state. Could you please let me know what this might mean? Does this mean I am in Security Screening? The GCMS notes does not mention Security Screening anywhere. Please, I am really worried and would be grateful if you could advise how to make sense of the above information.

(I haven't traveled to anywhere outside India, other than to South Africa for 3 weeks only.)

Just FYI, I moved from Montreal to Winnipeg after my application (I informed IRCC), and in the latest notes I can see the secondary VO as Winnipeg IRCC. Could this be related anyhow to the above status?

Thanks a lot in advance! Hoping to hear from you soon.

Best regards,
Saikat
Section 22(1)(b), states as follows:

21 (1) The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any record requested under this Act that contains
(b) an account of consultations or deliberations in which directors, officers or employees of a government institution, a minister of the Crown or the staff of a minister participate,

Any information that falls under the above, will not be disclosed. This does not mean that you are in SS.

@legalfalcon my aor date is 9 June'18. My gcms notes received in Nov show funds review required though amount is substantially higher than required. I submitted updated funds on 6th jan'19 without request from CIC. From last 3 days when I click view submitted application in my CIC account, I can see the message to attach documents as if I have received ADR (though I have not received any ADR). When I check there is no place to attach any document. When I go back to previous screen and again go to view submitted application, this attach document text disappears and I can see the application like it was before. This happened third time Today. Any reason why this is happening?
Most likely this is a technical issue. No need to be concerned about it.

Yes, this is normal. Each application is processed separately. Just give it a few days, and you will see them all approved.

If the charge was dismissed, then there would be no criminality issue. Also, if you have answered the statutory questions in the application correctly, you are all good.

You will have to check with each PNP and see if your NOC is in demand. With a CRS of over 400, you are eligible for Ontario PNP, as and when it opens. You can also explore if there is anyway you can increase your CRS through work, education or re-taking your IELTS.
