Damn, I was in the same situation, my original app (family of 3) reached Aug 02 and was returned because I missed one checkbox on one of the apps, I checked and resent (received Oct 9), got AOR Dec 17.

Lol . from this its clear that these guys don't have common sense to put a simple validation at the end of the application form to make sure that all the fields is completed. Instead of someone validating and sending it back which is double work for both party.

Inefficient guys..

Missed one tick mark on the main applicant form( something related to election), so the entire package was returned.Received the return package on Oct 24th and sent it back on the same day.

I also have the same issue in my application. There was a question in the application form: Section 13
Have you ever had immigration or citizenship status in any country other than canada including your country of birth? Yes /No

It is Yes for me, but i didnt check this box as Yes but the details are provided below

Leave it to CIC for not processing the applications in the order they receive them. Glad to see my tax money going to efficient use... NOT

This doesn't seem to make much sense because question 17c clearly states "If you are 18 years or older and reside in Québec". In fact, someone got AOR even though they left 17c blank since they reside outside of Quebec. Also, why would they return the application if the form states your answer to 17b and 17c will not affect your citizenship application! This is madness!

you will see it in your mailbox more less on the expected day of AOR or even a few days earlier thanexpected AOR date.

Physical mail box or email box?
Mine was delivered on Oct 15, every one else is getting AOR even who submitted weeks later.
Now I'm going paranoid :/
