Regarding the letter from India... can you request your ex-manager to support you with a letter(on a plain piece of paper) and ask him to sign off and provide his contact details ?
Tried contacting several times. They are giving me a hard time wasted more than a month. They asked me contact a skip level manager and human resource capital, but they don't respond. And technically the experience is few days lessthan 12months.
Also they have a standard letter with job title, location and salary with no detailed responsibilities.

If you make changes now to your profile which causes a drop in point you might just need to decline the ITA and get back to the pool. Please wait for others to comment
@DelPiero07 @jes_ON please suggest

Hi Guys,

I have query on how to add the work experience in Express Entry application.

I have total experience of 6 years, I have been working for the same company from last 6 years but at different locations. This is my first job and still continuing, I have spent around 3 years in UK (Onsite) and 3 years in India(base location). Could you please let me know if how to enter the work experience in the application; should I just add one record for 6 years and with location India or should I divide my experience and add separate records for each location change. like shown below-

Just enter the job title and location with dates individually

Example:
1. Jan 2012 - Dec 2014 - India - NOC xx
2. Jan 2014 - Dec 2016 - U.K - NOC xx

Hi Guys,

I need your help. I need a clarification regarding work experience. Currently, I work for a family owned business as an Assistant Manager.
I have been working here since last four months and now they want me to move to their another location.
My concern is that both the businesses are registered under different names.
So now, I will have pay stubs from two different businesses. Still My position and duties are going to fall under the same NOC for both. At the end of one year, can I count both the experience (4 months old location + 6 months new location) as a one to qualify for Express Entry stream?

Please help me guys.

TOP URGENT!!!

Hello all,

I'm trying to create an express entry profile. I got stuck up with experience history. My experience as follows,

Company A - NOC 2132 - 1.7 years
Company B - NOC 2261 - 3 months (shutdown job in the gulf)
Company C - NOC 2261 - 7 months & counting

Now my concern is,

1. What is my total work experience? can I club different NOC experience altogether?
2. Which NOC code I need to choose as a primary either the max. experienced NOC 2132 or currently working NOC 2261?
3. Will that 3 months experience is acceptable by CIC? or they only accept min. 6 months experience.

Please clarify my dilemmas.

Thanks in advance for your time.

- 2 years
- noc 2132(min 1 yr continuous work exp is required)
- to claim points for the 2 years of work experience you need letter of reference from your employer

To qualify in the EE as an FSW, minimum 1 yr continuous work experience is required in NOC 0, A, B
Thanks for your response @bimale4bipeople. Please, I request your guidance on below points too...

1. So, it possible to club different NOC codes?

2. In addition, I need 2 years experience for getting eligible 67 points. As I told earlier I'm only 1.7 exp with my primary code. Is it necessary to get 2 years experience in the primary code (NOC 2132) for entering in 2 - 3 years bracket in 67 points grid OR 2 years in overall exp. is enough?

- yes, as long as they are within the NoC 0, A,B classification
- to qualify for EE you need min 1 yr continuous work experience, which you have with the NOC 2132. Any NOC after that you can include that as part of the work exp. Regarding your 67 point criteria I think it is not dependant on a particular NOC as such so you can count the the number of years spanning across the the multiple NOCs

BTW all are in NOC A in the same organization, so what if the second period is anticipated to start 2 days after the previous one, would that make it not continuous?
What is the length of your first period ?
If it is an foreign work exp, it has to be in the same NOC. If it is a Canadian work exp as long as the NoC classification does not change it will not be an issue and for Canadian work exp, the work experience need not be continuous but had to complete 1 yr
