what is the meaning of receiving PRE ARRIVAL SERVICES E-MAIL?

hi i received that email (PRE-ARRIVAL SERVICES) after a month my medical what could be the reason? Is this a good new? i am still waiting for my ppr and we applied my application on May 2018... thanks. ImI from the Philippines is it normal to wait this long after my medical last july until now...? thanks for the answer

pre-arrival is good news, it means you have passed eligibility assessment.....once background check is completed.....ppr will be next....most sponsorship are completed within 12 months, but applications are processed on a case basis, so the process could take less or more months.....patience.....you on good track

Sometimes, background check already in process but you won’t see it online. Check ECAS if your status changed to application received to in process. One day, you will see background check in process and then passport request. Background check will should completed after you land.

It’s in process but my MP called the local visa office and they confirmed that it has not started yet they say we have a normal application without any apparent problem.

It means absolutely nothing!! It use to mean you passed eligibility but I guess the just randomly send them out now whenever they want. It doesn't mean your done, it does not mean your approved, it means nothing Lol. Wait for real mail

Check your application "Status" through your online account linked to your application...

1.) Review of eligibility: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility."
2.) Review of eligibility: "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"

1.) Background Check: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”.
2.) Background Check: “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“

You have completed eligibility assessment, hence the message is #2 above.

similarly when Background Check message changes to #2, indicates Background Check has started or completed.

Don’t be too negative. Pre arrival is a very good sign. Even those guys who provide pre arrival services can tell you that, rarely do someone get denied after receiving pre arrival services. And even if they get denied, it’s due to criminality and medical purposes not relationship genuineness.

Yes, many. Just depends on the length of the background check abd also the speed of the processing office.
