Have you called IRCC? Because that's 2 months past the normal processing time. If they won't tell you anything, contact your local MP and get them to grease the wheels a bit.
Did both, nothing came out of it , except that they are”doing all they can”

When was the last time you talked to any of them? Keep calling, every single day if you have to. Tell them that you've done everything you can, so now it's up to them to do something about it. Ask if you should just re-apply and if you do so, if they'll waive the citizenship applications fees- because either your application drew up a lot of red flags or they outright lost it.

Send a message/email to the CIC Minister as well. Ask him what's up with 14 months and not even a test invite

Did that too ... got a response from someone in his office who didn’t even bother to read my email - I stated clearly that I had more than 1500 days and was only out of the country for 70 days in my eligibility period - but his email explained people who did not meet the 1095 day requirements or traveled outside frequently may face longer processing time

Last time I called was last week, and no there’s no red flags according to my monthly subscription of GCMS report- it just simply had been sitting there not being touched after the criminality and security checks were completed back in June

The only movement was in October , after passing my one-year anniversary and sending a note to the local office at the request of myself and my MP’s office , they moved my files from Mississauga to Scarborough- nearly 2 months have passed , still nothing

I'd give it a bit longer, but no more than another month. Then contact IRCC again and tell them you can submit the application again because you feel it has been lost, but only if they waive the fees. Another way to go about it is to get a writ of mandamus going; basically forcing them to look at it and process it nearly immediately. That has pros and cons: the pro is if it's ruled in your favor, the citizenship application gets processed a helluva lot faster. The cons are it requires an immigration lawyer as well as lots of cash.

Nope, I am not going to take either of these steps, don’t have the time to reapply , and don’t have the time and money to hire a lawyer

Then there is nothing you can do but wait. Those are really the only options you have at this time. It sucks, I know; I'm almost in the same boat as you, but not quite that severely.

Will be 14 months in a week. As per the call today even background check is done. The application has been transferred to the Scarborough office.
