Guys,

My application for citizenship has been returned due to lack of language proof.

Here are the questions to make sure the next one is okay;

1.
My photos are dated September 9th, application will reach Sydney Dec 13th, is it okay?

2.
Question 9c, did you live outside Canada during eligibility period?
I did but I am not counting any of these days towards eligibility so the answer is a NO.?

3.
Given names contain characters which does not exist in English alphabet, thy are still in my passport, should I use English only?

4.
Should I use the previous calculator or should I make a new one? A new one will be simpler as TFW status will no longer show up and there will be 30 days more.

5.
Can I use previous forms? The signature is September 1st and it will reach Dec 13th.. I can replace the page with signature so it is updated and left the rest as is. It means employment history and addresses will only cover until September? .

Thank you PPL.
You should write your given names az they are written on your PR card, or other Canadian government documents. Your photos are still okay. They aren't older than 6 months.
If i were in your place i would send the application back as it is after including language proof.
Once i faced the same situation with my PR card renewal application. It was returned as they didn't like the contrast in photos. I sent the application back after only replacing the photos.

Answered your questions in Green.

Guys,

My application for citizenship has been returned due to lack of language proof.

Here are the questions to make sure the next one is okay;

1.
My photos are dated September 9th, application will reach Sydney Dec 13th, is it okay?
-It should be okay, given they're within the 6 month period.

2.
Question 9c, did you live outside Canada during eligibility period?
I did but I am not counting any of these days towards eligibility so the answer is a NO.?
-You said you did live outside of Canada, but you said no on the application? You want to be as truthful as possible or they won't grant you citizenship on the grounds of misrepresentation. I believe have to count those days as part of your eligibility period anyhow.

3.
Given names contain characters which does not exist in English alphabet, thy are still in my passport, should I use English only?
-Use the names as they are printed on official Canadian documents.

4.
Should I use the previous calculator or should I make a new one? A new one will be simpler as TFW status will no longer show up and there will be 30 days more.
-Use a new calculator and respond that you DID live outside of Canada during the eligibility period.

5.
Can I use previous forms? The signature is September 1st and it will reach Dec 13th.. I can replace the page with signature so it is updated and left the rest as is. It means employment history and addresses will only cover until September? .
-To be on the safe side, I'd write up new forms with the corrected information and send that back with the returned application. You never know with government officials; they could want the older one back, or they could want you to write up a brand new one; or you could contact IRCC and explain your application was returned, and ask if you can just amend everything then send it back.
Thank you PPL.
