I have 2 Questions:
1) my wife did the PCC at an agency and after 11 days the additional document request line changed to "We have received the additional documents you provided". Do I need to upload the RCMP report separately? And if yes, how do I get it from the RCMP?
2) My wife is coming up on being in Canada six months. We filed a separate application to extend the six months limit and it is "being processed" by CIC. However her visitor visa expires in February (probably 5 months before we get any PR results), so is there something else we must do to extend her Visa? Or is that covered by the visitor stay extension?

Does anyone know if we have to send the background results to CIC also via physical mail even after submitting it online?

Now it seems that this is a long waiting period until the final decision. Hopefully, we won't need an interview nor additional documents...

On letter it says "Please send a scan/ copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as you receive it." I don;t think there is need to mail original then.

Also, i was being paranoid if cic has received my fingerprints from RCMP as it was still showing replacement needed. Although, in mycic it was showing we have received additional documents. So, i contacted CIC through web form on nov 4 and today i got email back saying they have received my fingerprints form RCMP. In case, someone is worried about CIC receiving their docs, reach them through web form.

If you check the letter sent to you there is an highlighted area through which u can send the requested document. A scan copy will be okay but I think it is clearly stated in the letter not to send photicopy

I asked them if they heve received my fingerprints as its still showing replacement needed and on other side, its saying we have received your additional documents. In reply i got this” We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the RCMP fingerprints were received by the responsible office.”

I have uploaded my criminal check results on both my online CIC account and via the Case Specific Enquiry link outlined on the request PDF document.

It is indeed quite confusing, but I think overdelivering won't be an issue.

Question for you guys - How do inland applicants exit/re-enter for PR?
They don't. You get a landing interview appointment at an IRCC office.
