Hi guys I am from India, Chennai.

We got married in the year 2017 July and we have been together only for a month till date.

My husband applied for spouse visa in the month of May 2018. He got a mail from CIC stating that he has been approved for sponsorship in yhe month of july 2018. I received medical request in the same month and the update happened on the website on July 21 "medical results have been received". CIC mailed my husband that my application has been forwarded to delhi office on Aug 3rd 2018. Till date there has been no update from cic.

I would like to know how much time does it take to process the application from delhi visa office. Can anybody let me know what can I do further to know my application status.

At this point it's just a waiting game, you are lucky, since the outland applications moved to Sydney,ns the process has become faster. No worries you'll get good news soon. :)

I have a friend. Who got recently married in the month of jan2018. Her husband is a canadian PR since 2016. He did his 2 years post graduate programme there. He lost his job before marriage i.e in june2017. He wants to take time and apply as he feels it would get rejected as he does not have any source of income. But he got job in april 2018. He had been with his wife only for a month after marg. Should he wait for gew more months and apply or does the time where he was jobless would affect his wives visa??

does not matter with income as long hr is not on welfare
