Thank you so much I will try that as well, I hope it works. By the way, in case it doesn't work, how safe is it to upload the remaining documents to personal history (Client Information field) and explain in LOE that due to file size limitations I have uploaded there ?
That would be enough.

Good Luck!

This is an analyst or an assistant note for the officer to review and make a determination. The officer can go either way. When you say it is part-time, but equivalent to full time, I don't get that. This could be what may have confused the analyst.

Thanks @legalfalcon . Even though working hours were 40 hrs/week and duties were equivalent to full-time position, the contract was for a part-time job as the pay was per hour. How long would it take for the VO to review my file? And should I do anything from my end?

Hi @legalfalcon,

I am in the middle of applying for express entry.
In my previous study permit applications I've written that I have not been refused a visa to any other country. However I was reminded recently by my brother that we were refused a visa to England when we were 10 years old due to financial reasons.

I want to mention this in my current application.
How serious is this issue for the study permit that I am currently on? Is there a way to contact them right now and relay this information so that they don't cancel my current study permit?

6 years ago I've received a visitor visa to UK, and I've respected the conditions of the visa during my stay. In the UK visa application I wrote that I was previously denied visa to UK. For my Canadian visa applications, I must have forgotten the visa denial somehow.

Hello @legalfalcon
May be the question which I am going to ask here has already been answered in previous of your posts but I am afraid I can not browse 511 pages here :) .... Your reply will be of help.

My status changed to "Additional Docs required" and I was asked to pay RPRF which I did yesterday. Last day to pay is 3rd Oct. The RPRF receipt is also uploaded in my account.
My query - Still the status shows that "Action required at your end" and "Additional documents required". Is still anything pending from my end ??

Thanks

I haven't done this before but from other's posts I learnt that you need to click "Continue" and put password to confirm?

Hi Legal falcon. Need your advice! As you said, I ordered GCMS notes on 13-September-2018. I know that it takes 30 days to get deliver. But recently I sent an email inquiry to cpc Ottawa office to know the status of my application. On the next day I got reply that “Please be informed that your application is in queue for review by an officer”. This reply is totally different compare to all previous replies. Previously I was getting a reply that “We are doing additional verification”.
It’s been 20 months.
So now, I would like to know the meaning of the reply which I got recently ! Please and thank you.

Best regards,
Jignesh

These are generic emails, there is nothing to read in them. Either your application is at eligibility or security and awaiting an officer review.

Wait for your GCMS to know the exact status/

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I am about to upload my files but I have an urgent query. My proof of funds are in two separate banks so I am submitting both letters and attachments.

My problem is file size, no matter what I did, I cannot compress any more than that. So, the english translation of one of my banks does not fit.

Is it okay if I upload that exceeding part into Client Information (i.e. Letter of Explanation field) and explain like due to file size limitation ?

Would there be any issue (i.e. officer can't find or does not accept etc.?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes, you can. As long as your explain it, you are good.

Legal Falcon i need suggestion
we have got passports for Pr with immigrant Visa which expires in may 2019 single entry
question is
Can we travel in may 2019 and apply for PR card and stay till It arrives (approx 100 days though our visa would have expired)or we need to land asap and apply for PR card before our Visa expires?

If you have a PR card, as soon as your enter Canada, you will be a PR and you can stay indefinitely. The visa is cancelled when you are admitted as a PR upon landing with a PR visa. The CoPR will be stamped and that will be your proof of PR until your PR card arrives.

At this stage you can do the following:

1. Just wait for the officer to review and make a determination. He may just approve, if not, he will send you a Procedural fairness letter and as you to explain.
2. You can send a CSE and explain and address any concerns that the analyst has raised.

Since I am not privy to your case, and only based on your GCMS notes, I cannot give you a recommendation, but the options have been listed, which one works best, will be based on your unique circumstances and profile.

This is no big issue and will not matter as your were 10 when your visa was rejected. However, to set the record straight you can explain this in your PR application in the LoE. simply explain that your mother informed you of this and and you were not aware. You have mention that your visa was never rejected in other applications, but since you came to know of this lately, you want to explain.

No. You have to do nothing. After you upload your documents, it takes a few days and sometimes 1-2 weeks before it is added to your file. Until then your status will remain the same.

No need to worry as long as you have paid and uploaded the receipt.

Hello @legalfalcon,
I received my last GCMS notes (back in August) and they still show Eligibility: Not Started. The thing is I'm June 2017 AOR, so more than 15 months with zero updates except that my medicals got extended. I honestly gave up, but any idea what could be the reason behind this delay? 15 months for Eligibility I mean? I emailed and raised CSE multiple times and did all these stuff and never got an answer...

Ah i just saw the typo, I was actually 13, not 10, will that make any difference?
What about my brother who had a refusal for UK when he was 24? He came to visit me in Canada for 6 months and also forgot to mention the refusal. I believe he was aware of his UK refusal, but genuinely misread the form, thinking it was asking about refusals only to Canada.
His visit to Canada was 2 years ago, and he's thinking of applying in a year for PR through express entry. Should we open a CSE for his account to admit this information and send the scans of past UK refusal?

We're just worried that these little mistakes if found will make Immigration think like he was misrepresenting himself, that's why maybe its better to bring this information forward right now, before he applies.

Please let me know what you think @legalfalcon!
