:rolleyes:I think the whole scoring system needs to be more transparent, the IELTS official won't bother to tell the candidates which questions they answered wrong, which means they can do whatever with the number of correct answers in reading/ listening and announce the score...

I agree. They should at least release a key so that we know whether to apply for re-evaluation.
It also helps if they provide a copy of our answe sheets. This will help us check if the answers and spellings we put in are correct. I would pay an additional $10-20 if they make it a standard.

What I got: 8(L), 6(Reading, devastating), 8(W), 8(S). Cannot believe this time reading screwed me. Is it because I wrote "TRUE" as "True"? Should capitalize all of them? I checked the answer, and most of them were correct.

Can you please share your reading answers?

Guys are you sure your wrote TRUE FAlSE like this?
Some people consider it wrong answer if it is not in capital and full.
Also the answer must come from the text Without any changes.
If text says document it is document not documentations or something.

Marking it wrong for not writing in capital letters is crazy. Lol. This is cruel

In IELTS the case doesn't matter unless it is a proper noun. TRUE, true, True... all are evaluated as correct. At least that is what IELTS Liz says.

I took a course in one of the centers. The instructor was an examiner. She told us you write it TRUE FALSE NOT GIVEN. It is a gray zone and maybe depend on the examiner. But my instructor was given me zero for each point I do without taking care of the case (upper lower) include true fLse questions. She was strict about it and I believe other examiner might be strict as well.
