I'm Nov 2016 applicant and my application is still in background check!
My work permit is gong to expire in two months and I have to apply for bridge work permit.
One of the documents needed for BOWP is "Proof of Medical exam". I did my medical in Jan 2018, and do not know what should I send as the proof of the exam. Can anyone help me?

Your medical receipt and document with IMM number on top (From Jan 2018) is good enough as your medical is valid for 12 months.

I am in BC too. Have you called a legal aid office there? My local one has no idea about immigration matters.

I think all who have passed 20 months should request detailed updated through your local MP.

I want to local MP office and they call CIC but MP office provide me same information as CIC provide me . However they told me that’s what they can do . It’s not really helpful and I am not gonna tell MP office to call them again because it can be negative effect for case and they again gonna provide same information.

Really frustrating right now 21 months waiting and still no updates single applicant.

I received it along with my nomination at the end of May 2018. I'm AINP. Alberta seems to be giving the support letter to everyone who's WP is about to expire

I never think that my application can take this much time to process . No criminal record no travel history single applicant medical passed . I have no idea what they really looking for and trying to prove .

21 months Its really hard to wait why they don’t understand and we can’t even make any future plans .

I used OINP nomination certificate as a letter of support from the province for my BOWP.
