Thank you for the response. Here is my situation with regards to 485 EAD (green card process).

Our EAD was revoked incorrectly and later the MTR (motion to reopen) has been approved and the case is under processing. Our current EAD is valid only until December 2018. In the statutory questions, I did mention YES where it asked if I was ever denied, immigrant, permanent residency of Canada or any other country. I am writing that in LOE and explaining the details.

That was the reason I was asking if we need to explain the extension of our current EAD which is expiring in Dec 2018.

Also do I need to attach current EAD where I upload passport document or should I attach in LOE?

You only need to show your status in the country of residence on the day when your pr application is filed. EAD is not a visa, and you do not have to answer yes.

Sir I am an employee of the company but now only on commission for first 3 months I got salary but due to lower targets company stops salary and gives only commissions on sales. If I achieve my target they will start my salary again.

Aor-6 April 18,Med and ip1-13 April ,Ip2 was 18-May 18 ,Fsw-O,India.Vo -Ottawa Got Gcms notes from Getgcms.com 1.5 months before .My case is at hault from last three months I don’t know why?
1):-My eligibility was also fully passed by senior officer on 15 June 18 Admisibility,Criminality,A11.2,R75,R76 ,funds everything is passed and there is not even a single concern in eligibility for me and my spouse

2):-But in security for my husband Activity 1 to 6 is about Having Activity type is Biographic -additional info which is requested and than received back (Ready for officer review)(he applied for Us visitor visa and was refused in 2012) and dates are hidden in these Activities

3):-Activity 7,8,9 of my husband are redacted (no information at all)Is Is this Ss

4):- Activity 10 is about security (mentioned on it) is of my husband with redacted data.

5):-Activity 11 is only one activity for me (PA) type -security and redacted info

6):- They have also requested Aricle of foreign statue some where in Gcms too

So I want to know that do you think I am in security screening ,If yes I am SS than how much we have to wait,We are very upset and in having zero morale left

Plz Guide us what can we do now ,I have three beautiful kids having dreams of Canada.

It does not matter then if you are an employee. In your work reference letter you can mention that your wages are variable and tied to the sales you make.

Based on what you describe, you are not in SS. This is normal for all GCMS notes. However, if the time frame exceeds 2 months from when your eligibility was passed, you may be in SS.

Your AoR is April 6. Just wait for the 6 months to pass, before worrying.

I have a problem for which I need an expert advice from you. In my educational documents, my father name is 'Muhammad Tayyab Khan' where as in my passport, it's 'Tayyab Khan'. Currently, I am at pre eca stage and contemplating what to do with this case and would it be causing any problem during the process? Since post ITA, we have to submit our educational docs as well coupled with Passport, do you see a possibility of 'one and the same person' affivadit working in this case?

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Ok sir and with it I can provide my yearly tax certificate which is given by the company is it okay? And I can mention my last year income on my letter as well which is salary plus commissions. Is it good then?

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have a tricky situation, like some of the other members I had the issue with accepting or declining ITA that I got on Aug 8th. So I created another profile since I couldn't even decline the ITA on my first profile, now today I received ITA on my new profile but when I checked the first profile, the ITA continue process works fine. Looks like the technical issue got resolved after IRCC team addressed my technical issues ticket.
Now I don't know which option I should pursue option1) decline the first ITA that was issued on 8th Aug and withdraw associated profile or option 2) decline the Sep 5th ITA and withdraw the associated profile? With the first option since I had the technical problems, my concern is that there may be additional problems while uploading docs or after submitting docs that could be related to the Aug 8th issue. With option 2, my concern is that it may trigger duplicate profile even after I withdraw my first profile.
Can you please help and recommend which option should I select or suggest an option better than these two?
Note: even though I lost days due to the technical issues on Aug 8th ITA, I have all the documents that need to be submitted and don't have a problem with the number of days left on my first ITA.

Hello Sir, when I said EAD - I meant that the petition for permanent residency application (green card) was denied incorrectly and later on it was quashed and MTR (motion to reopen) has been granted. So currently the petition for permanent residency application (green card) is under process.

So - I believe I do need to say YES for the statutory question where it asked for - have you ever been declined immigrant, permanent residency in Canada or any other country. Is that correct?


Because our application for permanent residency is under process - my current status in the US is PAROLEE and the document that shows my authorization to work and legally stay is the EAD (employment authorization document).

Question1: Since our EAD is expiring in december 2018 do I need to explain about the extension being filed in EAD?

Questoin 2: Do I attach EAD along with passport document or in the LOE?
