Nigerian that applied for study visa for January 2019 gather around let's tell our experiences
Family ties in Nigeria and Canada (I don't have relatives in CA)and not convinced I will be back home after studies
I have applied for student visa on 7 aug online but got no reply since then it has been 34 days... What to do?
I am Jan 2019 intake,
today got visa refusal on 4 grounds
applied on 21 auguest
biometrics done on 4 Sept
refusal 10th Sept

I have a question I am bit confuse taking it
I am the citizen of Tanzania and Married to a Pakistani doctor so I have the permanent resident card of Pakistan its valid till 2023
and at present, I am residing in the Maldives due to my spouse employment he is working here my immigration status in the Maldives is DEPENDENT VISA
so when I determine my eligibility for study visa
there is a QUESTION : your country of your country of resident
so what to put Pakistan or to put Maldives ?
also when we will fill the form IMM 1294 also there is such question so what should I put in that field

Country of residence is where you live right now Maldives, citizenship would be Tanzania unless you have taken Pakistani citizenship and renounced TZ citizenship.

What was the refusal reason? I believe you would need to show ties to TZ which could be difficult in your situation.
I was also rejected last month and trying to apply again reason ties in Angola or did not convince them that I will be back to Angola. I don't really know what to proof as a tie.
