You can add the surname which you have for your brother no issues at all. These are declarations docs you are not required to submit proof for it

Do I need a copy of passports or ID docs for siblings/half siblings/ in law siblings for when we receive our ITA? Even if they are not coming with?

Hi seniors! Hi everyone!

Please help me understand about profiles allowed to have in the pool as a married couple.

At the moment, each of us has a profile. We are both candidates in the pool (waiting for ITA or NOI), with different CRS and characteristics: husband with 434, ielts CLB 9, master. Me with 402, master but languages not maximized, TEF (between 7 and 10) and IELTS (between 6 and 10).

I am a little bit confused right now. I understand that one (same) person cannot have two profiles, but what about couples??

I thought that husband/wife may both be candidates in pool as principal, waiting to receive ITAs/EOIs/NOIs. Having said that, if both spouses received ITAs with their profiles, the couple should choose which profile use to apply because only one application should be send as family (once ITAs received). That´s correct?

I know that usually it doesn’t make sense to have both a profile, because the couple would choose the spouse with higher CRS as principal applicant. But in our case, it is relevant to have separate profiles because although he is the one with higher CRS, I am the one who may be elegible under ontario french speaking skilled worker.

I am so sad that I couldn’t get CLB 9 in all four TEF abilities. TEF exam is not available in my country so I cannot retake it any time this year.

We're doing something similar. My profile is up with CRS 431, in hope of getting OINP HCP NOI if and when they restart issuing. Wife is retaking IELTS to try and boost CRS upto 437, hoping cut-off comes down to that for direct ITA sometime this year. Wife will not get OINP NOI as she does not have minimum 1 year of work exp in last 5 years.

Hi All,
I'm new to this page and have applied for EE with CRS of 429. My sister just landed in Alberta today so with the sibling points my points will now come to 444 once she gets COPR.I do have a few queries though.
1) We share same father's name in our passports. Will that suffice to show we're siblings?
2) If passport is not enough, what other documents can we provide?
3) Since my sister just landed, what will i show for her proof of residence in Canada if get an ITA? She will be staying at a friend's place and wont get a place for herself until August.
4) I updated the portal of entry as Toronto. But now i feel i better land in Alberta. When i told my immigration consultant that, she said i have just applied for Canadian PR and that i can land anywhere. Is that true?

Please guide me.
Thanks in advance

Is NOC-0621 (Retail and wholesales manager) or NOC-6211 (Retail sales supervisor) under any PNP programme available?

1), 2) and 3)

Here is a guide to proving relation to sibling living in Canada:

4) Yes, that's true.

One encouraging thing is that, after the 3 year immigration plan was unveiled in Nov last year, the draw size never went down... it will stay the same or will increase... atleast we can expect the score to fall in the long run

I've seen many here speculate that it will go up, peak at 4000 and the slowly go down again. Not sure why though. Perhaps it's based on a calculation of how many ITA's issued?

I thought I was clear above in my msg that you do not need any proof for them. Just mention there particulars on the family history form

That idea is based on the last year pattern... but now CIC has done more planning... the immigration target is steadily increasing year on year till 2020.. hence the lot size will not fall down

So Guy just one more day for party to being. I hope it come down, hopefully to 441 or 440 based on trends earlier this year. All the best.
